My Adventure With Green Day, chapter 1
I can't fucking believe it! Out of all the people at this concert, I got to play on stage with GREEN DAY!!!!

I was at reading festival 2004, and Green Day hit the stage, Bille joe was chanting "I WANT A FUCKING GUITAR PLAYER AND I WANT ONE NOW!!!!"
It took 4 guys to hold me up, me being the fat bastard I am. Billie Joe stared at me for about 8 seconds, he didnt even ask me if i could play. "THAT FAT GUY SITTING ON TOP OF THE CROWD, DRAG HIS ASS UP HERE NOW!!!"
My heart stopped beating for about 3 seconds, to find I was being carried to the front. a security guard grabbed me and said "you lucky cunt" and smiled, Jason, the green day support guitar player helped me on stage, I approached Billie Joe and started crying. He grabbed me, threw his arms around me and gave me the bets hug ever, and then KISSED me!!! WOAH, I aint gay, but weh hey!
He handed the guitar over to me, his beautiful blue fernandes strat, the legend of all legends, this guy knew I could play the song.
I pelted out these three chords like a motherfucker ( D, C, and G) and the crowd went wild, I WAS PLAYING ON THE READING STAGE!!!!
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN PHILTHY PHIL!!!"

We finished the song in amazement
When I finished, Billie Joe told me to wait backstage, I watched the rest of the concert backstage, so close to them. I cried for the last 10 mins, they played when i come around and good riddance ( time of your life) I was in tears, LITERALLY!!
they left the stage and Billie apprroached me, smiling, and said "Phil, come with me"
And i was shocked at the fact i get to be alone with my idol, If i died, i'd die with a BIG fucking smile on my face
He took me onto the tour bus, and we sat down, had a joint and a beer, I was so fucking happy. he said to me, "phil, you wanna know why I know your name and that you play the guitar and you know all our songs?" and I was like "yeah dude tell me"
