Love Me Tender, chapter 7
"Ashley? OH MY GOD, Ashley! You're okay! Oh man, I thought something bad had happened!"
Huh?
I blinked slightly and opened my eyes.
"OH MY GOD Nikki! OH MY GOD! You're okay! Wow. I thought Jack had gotten you! I was so worried!" I threw the covers off of myself and threw my arms around Nikki. Nikki hugged me back and then pulled back.
"Why would you think that Jack had gotten me?" She looked confused.
"Well, I...I called your cell phone and your home phone and nobody picked up, so I was worried. Besides, I-I saw Master." Nikki's eyes widened. So did Ryan's. And Brendon's.
Most people aren't used to hearing somebody called "Master".
"What did he do?" Nikki asked hesitatingly. I complained enough. I wouldn't want to encourage me either.
"This." I ran my finger along the bandages that covered the cut on my neck. Nikki gasped.
"Ashleeeeeeey. How could you let him do this to you?" I shook my head at her, and she sighed. She knew I couldn't stop Master. I stood up silently, and walked into the bathroom. As I walked by, I saw that Brendon was staring at Nikki, and Ryan sighed and started to collect the bandages that were on the night table.
I stepped into the bathroom. I washed my face and walked back out. Thats when Ryan cleared his throat and decided to introduce everyone.
"Ashley, this is Brendon. And I guess you know her, so, uh, I'm Ryan." Ryan ruffled his bangs again. Brendon stood up and introduced Nikki to Ryan. The boys sat on Ryan's bed, and Nikki and I sat on my bed. We talked for awhile, and then Brendon stood up and went to look for the room service brochure.
"God, I'm soooooo hungry. Ry-Ry, I'm hungry. Get me food, Ry-Ry. Puh-lease Ry-Ry." Brendon pouted and Ryan shook his head. I giggled.
"Ry-Ry." Nikki giggled when I said it, and Ryan blushed slightly. That made Nikki and I laugh. Hard.
"Awwww, is Ry-Ry blushing? Oh Ashley, say his name again. See if he blushes." Brendon sat facing Ryan and laughed in his cute little way. Brendon laughing was adorable. But Ryan laughing...now that was what made me nervous. I don't know why, but Ryan was really making me nervous. I was trying to be really hot around him, and when he laughed, well, I loved that laugh. And when Brendon said this I blushed. Then I leaned forward, so my face was only a few inches away from his.
"Ry-Ry."
I whispered it while exhaling, so his name sounded like some sensual, exotic name. I leaned back and watched the color rise in his cheeks. But he only blushed a little. He had wonderful self-control.
Brendon laughed. The way Nikki was looking at him, I could tell her heart was melting for him. I smiled.
"Let's play...Truth Or Dare."
