"Whoa! Are you ok?!" were the 1st words I heard after I fell. I looked up...it was the tall boy. I waited for the laughs. Instead, he smiled at me and I managed to say, "yes."
I looked at him as he helped me up. His eyes were more beautiful up close. I smiled.
"Hi, I'm Mike...Mike Pritchard, but everyone calls me Mike Dirnt." So dazed I didnt even stop to think of why ppl would call him that. "Im Kia Murphy. It's very nice to meet you.
"This is my friend, Kaylee," I said looking at her. He looked at his friend who was busy staring away at Kaylee and said, "This is my friend Billie Joe."
Even though I found the name Billie Joe odd, I didnt want to be the one to judge.
Kaylee and I rode our bikes towards my house with the boys following us on foot. We stopped at my house to hang out. I went inside. I came back out with my mom who as usual ALWAYS had a smile on her face.
"Mom, this is Mike and this is Billie Joe." She stared with a look of hospitality. "Hi! I dont think Ive ever seen you 2 boys around here before,"she said.
Mike smiled at her and simply responded, "We're from California, here in Wisconsin for a family reunion." Well, that answered my question...
*15 mins later*
"Why dont we play a game?!" Kaylee said.
"Sure what game?" I asked.
"How about Spin The Bottle?"
I just about killed her thinking We just met these 2 boys, and you already want to kiss them or have one of our friends do it?!
She could tell I thought she was insane. Then Billie piped up and said, "Ok lets do it!"
It was Ash's turn 1st, it landed on Jeff. She turned to him almost puking and lightly kissed him on the lips. Then it was Kelly's turn. It landed on Dylan. She hated him ever since he broke up with her. She turned to him and barely kissed him on the lips. Next, my turn.
Oh my God, what if it lands on him?! what would I do? would I kiss him lightly or what?
*Mikes POV*
She spun the bottle and all I could think about was Please, please, please let it stop at me... but then I thought, how would I kiss her?! What would I do? Does she like me? Does she want a kiss from me?! NO DONT DONT STOP ON ME!!!
And as I said that last comment, it slowly but steadly spun until it stopped...on me.
