*End of trip*
*My POV*
Mike and I had so much fun. So did Chorts and Billie. Billie even told Chorts he loved her. That wasn't a surprise to me. Mike and I joked around the whole entire time and we completely forgot about my dad, nor did we care.
*Mike's POV*
When we drove back home, the ride was better. It made me happy to see that Kia was. She talked about the trip almost the whole ride until she fell asleep on my shoulder. She had a smile on her face. I smiled as well. When we got back to her house, I took her upstairs and layed her down on her bed. I stuck around and talked to her mom about the trip while Chorts and Billie went to go see Ollie.
*2 1/2 hours later*
*My POV*
I opened my eyes, hoping to see Mike lying next to me in the hotel. He wasn't there. I forgot. The trip was over. I was in my room. He must've put me here. He's so sweet. I looked at the clock, 8:30. I might as well put my pajama's on... I heard my mom talking. She must be on the phone, I thought. I went downstairs to say hi, but then I saw Mike. I ran down the stairs and hugged him. My mom smiled. I came and hugged her too.
*Mike's POV*
She looked so happy to see her mom. I was surprised when she ran to me and hugged me Does she really like me? was all that ran through my head. I stayed with her for almost the whole night. We drove to this place called "Kopp's" for ice cream and dinner. People just smiled at us when we kept laughing and kissing. I dont think Kia noticed, but all I could think about were three words to say. People commented on us saying things like, "Isn't that sweet?" or, "Aww...they're so cute!" I kept laughing inside. I dont think Kia noticed that either because all she did was keep her eyes on me.
*My POV*
We drove to my house after leaving "Kopp's" and we saw my mom sitting in a chair, smiling. I wondered if Mike liked me as much as I think he does. If he does, I know the most three perfect words to say.
