*Mike's POV*
I looked at her. She looked at me. I opened my mouth.
"Kia, I l...."
The phone rang. damnit.
"Hello?" Kia asked.
*Kia's POV*
"He...he...hello?"
It was Kaylee. She sounded like she was crying.
"Kaylee what's wrong?!"
"My...my parents....they...."
"WHAT KAYLEE WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"Kia...my parents, the hospital called saying they were there in critical condition from a car accident."
I could tell she was choking back tears.
"Omg Kaylee! Here we come!!! Stay in whatever you're wearing!!! Mike and I are coming ok?! Go outside!"
She hung up.
*Mike's POV*
Kia looked dazed and off guard. She was shaking a little.
"What happened?!"
She stopped shaking.
"Mike, Kaylee's parents are in the hospital, we have to go get her come on!"
"Oh my God," I said.
We ran out of the house. We picked up Kaylee and she told us about the call. Kia sat in the back with her and tried to tell her to calm down and that everything would be ok. I wasn't sure if she was right. Would everything be ok? Her acting so calm scared me. How could you be so calm?
*My POV*
I tried to act calm for Kaylee to keep her strong. Mike kept looking at me with a weird expression on his face like how are you being so calm like that? I'm pretty sure that's exactly what he's thinking, but I'm not calm, I'm scared as hell.
We drove to the hospital full speed and got there. We all ran inside and went to the receptionist. She told us where Kaylee's parents were. We ran to the room and Kaylee opened the door to find a doctor and paramedics putting sheets over her parent's bodies. Kia was wrong, everything wouldn't be alright. We were too late, Kaylee's parents were gone.
