Finding a place to stay, chapter 2
We headed up to our room and were amazed by the standard of it. The lounge was massive and had a 30" plasma screen television. The kitchen and dining area was also impressive with a large fridge and freezer and expensive looking dining table. The bedrooms were en suit and were also luxurious. We all quickly unpacked and took quick showers. About an hour later we got a call. Craig answered the phone.
"Hello," He spoke.
"Hello, Is that Mr Morris?" The man on the other phone asked.
"Yes, it is," Craig answered.
"Well, can you and your friend's please come down to conference room 2 please?" The man questioned.
"Yes, We'll be there in a minute," Craig replied and put the phone down.
"Guy's, we gotta go to conference room 2 now!" Craig was excited.
"Okay, do you think we actually get to meet them now?!" Rach asked with a big smile on her face.
"I hope so, I've been waiting forever for this!!" I replied with excitement present in my voice.
We hurried into the lift, getting out on the ground floor. We walked around the corner to the conference rooms and knocked on number two.
"Yes?" was the response from inside the room.
"It's us, the competition winners!" Rach exclaimed.
"Come right in!" the man sounded friendly.
We walked in and there they were sitting behind a table. My heart skipped a few beats when I saw Tre. I had loved him for as long as I could remember. I composed myself into a suitable manner, if I came across as a teenie they might send me home and that is something that I definitely didn't want to happen.
"Hey, so who's who?" Billie Joe smiled.
"Umm, I'm Kelsea Evans, this is Rachael Adams and this is Craig Morris," I spoke nervously as I pointed to each of us in turn.
"Hey hey, good looking!!" Tre jumped and hugged me.
Oh gosh I was going to faint, Tre just hugged me. I blushed the deepest shade of crimson and giggled.
"Tre, I think you're embarrassing the poor girl!" Mike interrupted him.
"OOhhh, sorry, babes!" He winked at me before sitting down again. Everybody shook hand's politely and we sat around to talk.
"So, wow long have you been into our music?" Mike asked.
"Since forever!! But since we are only just 16, I'd say around the time Warning came out," Rach explained.
"Pretty cool, so do you play any instrument's?" Billie wondered.
"I play guitar, Craig play's bass and Rach play's drums," I told him.
"Cool, you want to show us your stuff?" Tre more or less told us that we were going to.
"Sure, but what instrument's can we use?" Craig looked around the practically empty room.
"We've got some stuff in the van outside," Tre informed us.
"So, you can show us later if you'd like?" Mike looked at us all.
"Sure," I nodded.
"Look, I know this is our first day and everything but I've got jet lag, mind if I go to bed?" Mike looked anxious.
"Sure, don't worry," We reassured him.
"It's been great meeting you!" I added. He just laughed and said that the pleasure was his.
"Hey, It's 10:00 P.M now, Anybody want to go to the pub?" Craig wanted to go!
"Sure, I'm coming I need some alcohol!" Rach burst in.
"I'll give it a miss guy's, Enjoy yourselves's!" I told them as they left for the pub. They were only 16 but would easily pass as 18.
"Sorry, but I'd better dash too, I'm tired and I want to call Adie." Billie Joe made his apologies.
"That's fine, it's been great meeting you!" I told him. He hugged me and said that he was glad to have met me.
After he had left Tre and I sat in silence, I hate awkward silence's so decided to make my excuses and leave.
"No, don't go, I'll be a loner!" Tre exclaimed pulling me back down into a chair.
"No offence, but this kinda suck's. You want to get alcohol?!" I hoped that Tre would agree.
"Sure, hang on you're 16?!" He eyed me with suspicion.
"Aww, come on, dude it's not like I'm drinking on the street's," I pleaded with him.
"Fine, fine, but not much for you," Tre' gave in and ordered the hotel's finest wine.
We ended up drinking a little too much, and I get a bit mad when I'm drunk.
"Tre?" I slurred.
"Hmm?" He slurred back.
"I've had a crush on you since I was 11!" I giggled like a school girl.
"Well, I was thinking that you looked very sexy yourself!!" He was still slurring.
Let's just say one thing led to another and we did something that we would bitterly regret.
I woke up in the same conference room that I was in yesterday with a pounding headache. I looked around to see Tre lying sprawled out on the floor, naked. I looked down at myself and to my horror I was also naked.
"Shit!" I said out loud. I hurried to throw my clothes back on and hurried up to my room. Thought's were running through my mind. "How drunk did I get? Will he remember it? Will they send me home" and the final question, "Did we use protection?" Oh shit that was the most important one. I ran into my room and burst out crying.
"Hey hey, what's wrong?" Craig had heard me.
"I can't tell you just yet, I'm sorry," I held onto him tight.
"Come on, I can be a girlfriend to you, y'know, I can do the girly gossip's," He put on a voice more girlish than his normal one.
"Just because you're gay it doesn't mean it's any easier you know?" I let out a weak laugh.
"Yeah, well, I tried! Just tell me when you're ready," He squeezed my shoulder and left me alone.
One thing was for sure as much as I needed to talk to Tre I just couldn't. How could I have done it? I'm 16 for goodness sake!! I knew that breakfast was going to be the most awkward thing ever.
"Hunny, it's breakfast time, you coming down?" Craig asked through the door.
"Erm, yeah, gimme a sec," I decided the longer I left it the harder it would be.
***
I put some make up on, brushed my hair and got dressed into fresh clothes. I didn't have time for a shower and I decided that I would have one later. We walked down to breakfast together, my nerves were terrible, I knew that Green Day were going to be there. I wasn't star struck anymore, I was disgusted with myself for letting it happen. I mean sleeping with somebody when you're drunk is one thing, but sleeping with a 33 year old rock star was taking it too far.
"Hey guys," Rach spoke happily as we reached the table.
They all said good morning and we ordered our breakfast. Tre had a guilty expression on his face and when I did eventually bring myself to give him eye contact his eye's were filled with a mixture of happiness and worry. I needed to talk to him after breakfast. We finished eating and everybody got up to leave. I got up last and tapped Tre on the shoulder, I ushered him into a different lift.
"Umm, Tre about..." I started but was cut off.
"I'm soo sorry, you probably think that I took advantage of you, well, I do actually like you but now I've messed it all up," Tre' spoke hurriedly.
"Tre last night, was as much my fault as your's. I like you too, but this is weird, it's like sex before the date," I was mixed up.
"I know, I know, let's keep it cool for a few day's," Tre gave me a light kiss on the lips then the doors opened.
I went back to my room slightly more satisfied than I was earlier. I decided to have a shower before we had to meet up with the guys again.
***
We all met up in the hotel lobby and decided that Craig, Rach and I would show them what we could play. Billie spent his time helping me to improve my guitar skills. Mike aided Craig whilst Tre fooled around with Rach. I couldn't help but feel jealous. Was he flirting with her? I told myself to stop being paranoid as he was just being his normal boisterous self. I think that Billie knew something was wrong with me. He pulled me outside.
"Hey, look, have you and Tre had a row or something?" He asked.
My eye's must have gone wide with shock that he knew. "Umm, ermm..." I stuttered.
"Don't worry, I'll talk to him, just tell me your side of the story," Billie was sympathetic.
"I don't think I can," I looked down in shame.
"You're not leaving until I know," Billie was insistent on knowing what had happened between Tre and I.
I decided to spin him a story about Tre not wanting me to drink because I was under 18 and us ending up in a big arguement.
Billie looked at me with both shock and understanding.
"I would believe that but, Tre came back this morning with a major hangover and his shirt on inside out, so I was wondering if you had walked in on something last night?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Shit, damn he's too clever!" I must have said it out loud because Billie looked at me and spoke triumphantly.
"Ha, I knew it," I broke down in tears again, what is wrong with me? I had a one night, why was I crying so much?
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you," He spoke softly and cuddled me.
"I'm just scared, you know, so many questions. I don't know how it happened, we both got pissed and, and..." I sniffled.
"Hey, hey, it's okay, you'll figure it out." He spoke with confidence and we went back into the practice room.
After playing a few Green Day cover's and a few of our own songs, we decided it was time to get some lunch. We headed over to a restaurant to get some food.
"Hello," He spoke.
"Hello, Is that Mr Morris?" The man on the other phone asked.
"Yes, it is," Craig answered.
"Well, can you and your friend's please come down to conference room 2 please?" The man questioned.
