Alex POV:
It was about 5:30 I had to go to the park in half an hour I was feeling so guilty for lying to Billie but I had to or Nick would have closed the whole deal off.
The deal well I suppose you want to know about that. Well Nick, Cassie and I used to be all really great mates when Billie said Nick was 'trouble' he was right Cassie and I have gotten into heaps of trouble with the cops because of him, but me and Cassie well as we 'grew' out of it, Nick went the other way he got more into it. Nick hated Cassie because he was in love with her and she was with Billie that is why Nick also hates Billie so I must be careful.
Cassie has been in trouble with the cops and being her old best friend I knew she was also in trouble at school and almost going to be expelled...And she would hate that because for some reason she loves it? Nick and I need to frame her and get her kicked out of school.
*6 O'clock*
I am waiting at the park sitting on the swing actually and I nervously keep checking my phone I have never felt so terrified at a park before.
"What you so nervous about?" It was Nick
"Nothing, I was just waiting for you it's a...little cold don't you think?"
"Yeah, so Billie doesn't like me much hey?"
"What, like I would know?"
"Bullshit!" I stood up feeling threatened by the way his voice was. Nick came closer to me and then pushed me up against the bar. He was breathing heavily on me and had most of his weight pinned up against me.
"Lets get this straight, I hate Cassie and I hate fucking Billie Joe even more. He has taken the two girls I loved most. So don't Bullshit to me, I saw you kiss him and I saw you enjoy him kissing you back. So if we are in this together don't lie to me clear?"
I smiled at him and then giggled.
"Get off me now!" he kissed me on the cheek moved his hands down onto my hips and backed away.
"Okay Billie is my boyfriend get over it. He doesn't know I'm here, lets keep it that way okay now this is about getting Cassie back not me. Clear?"
"Clear. So the plan is: Do you know that rich bitch in our class she absolutely hates Cassie?"
"Yeah I know her Teresa yeah?"
"Yeah, Her parents brought her a gold plaited I-pod she takes it to school everyday has it in the front left pocket of her bag, must be worth a mint. Cassie has commented on it millions of time, well you are going to take it out of her bag well I distract her and slip it into Cassie's pocket. Teresa has a thing for me so I am going to hint that maybe Cassie took it. Get the plan?"
"Okay so when will this all happen?"
"Tomorrow period 4 time meet me near your locker is its always empty there. Do you know where I mean?"
"Yeap, Okay tomorrow," I said as I went to go home I did not want to be with him any longer then I had to.
When I got home, there where two messages on the machine, I pressed play the first one was Mike the message said:
"Hi, Alex how you going I noticed you and Billie were sort of having a rough time and I just wanted to see if you where okay and all? Okay I'll see you tomorrow."
How nice of him, he is the best person ever. The next message was from Billie it said:
"Hey just got home, I was just trying to make sure you weren't going to meet Nick but I guess your not home, call me when you get this love ya."
Okay what is my excuse going to be? I will call him now. I dialed the number and the phone rang. Someone picked up.
"Hello?" they said I think it is his mum.
"Hi, its Alex is Billie there please?"
"Ow Alex hi it's Cathy. How have you been?"
"Hi Mrs. Armstrong I've been great you?"
"Alex call me Cathy, I'm good thank you I just get Billie for you."
"Thanks."
I had never actually meet Billie's mum like in person or anything. She seemed nice on the phone but.
"Hey Alex," Billie said quietly;
"Hey, you alright you don't sound too good?"
"Yeah I'm fine you get my message?"
"Yeap, sorry I just went down to grab something to eat. Hungry you know?" I laughed nervously I am a bad liar.
"Yea, look babe I'm sorry but can I just talk to you tomorrow I'm not really in the mood right now."
"Ow um, alright then." The line went dead I wonder what was wrong?
BILLIES POV:
She must think I am a total idiot, I feel like one we just got back together and all I can think about is my problems and me. Well my problems are in fact are Cassie she called me before crying saying she just broke up with her boyfriend and that I was the only one she could turn to, I know I'm properly being sucked in but she sounded sincere.
I felt sorry for her, we talked for a while, and then I don't know she had to go and we just hung up on each other. That wasn't the problem but the problem was that when we were talking I started feeling like she was my girlfriend again, I know I'm a idiot Alex is a amazing girl, I don't know I'm going to get some sleep.
*** 8 o'clock next morning ***
"Come on get up sleepy head." Someone said laying down next to me. I grounded and opened my eyes. It was Alex.
"Alex? What are you doing here?"
"I came to see how you were feeling, and your mum said just to go right upstairs so I did." I sat up and kissed her, she looked so beautiful she had purple jeans on with a studded belt and a light green singlet top. I was so lucky to have her why would I want Cassie.
I let her under the blankets of my bed and she faced me putting her head near my chest.
"Billie, what was wrong last night?"
"What, nothing I was just not in the mood to talk I was tired." She looked at me puzzled and I knew she did not believe me, and then she just kissed me.
Alex POV:
Billie and I just walked into the school gates I see Nick standing there talking to Teresa.
He looks at me a wink then gives a cheeky smile, Billie sees.
"What was that all about?" Billie asks, I can tell his pissed by the tone in his voice.
"What, Nick? Don't worry he's a jerk."
"So why ask for his help?"
"Cause I need it." I smiled at him and he looked away.
"I got to go; I won't be in class 4 period okay?"
"Where are you going?"
"Well I need to meet up with Nick." Billie made another face.
"We made a agreement." I raised my voice a bit.
"Doesn't mean I have to like it." He kissed me on the cheek. "I don't want you to get messed up with this guy." I grabbed his hand.
"If I can handle you I can handle him." I smiled gave a little laugh and kissed him goodbye, time for class.
Well the day flew by and before I knew it, I was skipping to period 4 and off to carry out the plan.
I was in the toilets just staring at the mirror wondering if this was the right thing to do.
I mean after my dad left I went along way of track stealing cars (stealing anything actually), drugs, boyfriends, skipping class, anything you can think of I have properly done, I got into a lot of trouble with the police though and I almost lost my mum to. Do I really want to do this again? I know it is only something little but... Never mind, no backing out now.
Everyone was in class now and it was safe to walk down the hall, UN noticed. I turned the corner leading to the place, there was Nick and Teresa you could tell she was so into him, bitch like she could get him (gosh! What am I saying why do I care?).
Perfect, they were leaning right near my locker, how convenient of me to go and get some books.
I walked towards my locker; the zip to her bag was opened. I reached my locker, she moved a little you could tell she did not like that I was there then I dropped all my books, accidentally on purpose.
"Ow shit, I'm gonna be even more late!" I said sincerely.
"Ah, don't worry," Nick said bending down and helping me pick up my books, as Teresa saw that she decided to help too. Just as that was happening, I saw Nick slip his hand into her bag and quickly pull out her ipod, bingo! He smiled at me.
"Thanks so much, both of you. Can I ask one more favor but?" I said putting on an innocent look.
"Sure what is it?" Nick said smiling and grabbing Teresa's hand pulling her up.
"Do you know where room E7D is? I have no idea and like I said I'm really late."
"Yeah, I'll show you," he said again smiling.
Then he told Teresa to wait there and that he'd be back in two seconds, she smiled and nodded.
"Thanks for your help, see you later." I said to her, oh so nicely.
"Your welcome," she said back.
Nick and I walked off and as we were out of her hearing range, he said
"Perfect, babe." He put his arm around me and smiled. I removed his arm.
"Yeah, It was perfect, but babe?"
"Yeah." He stopped and grappled my hand pushing me lightly against the lockers. "We make a good team." He smiled and kissed me on the neck, I could feel his breath against me and I tried to move him but he was to strong.
"Get off me!" I said calmly, even though I was freaking out.
Then he slipped his hand down the back of my leg finding the back pocket to my jeans and in the pocket, he slipped the I-pod. He laughed;
"Don't lose it, and make sure no one finds it!"
Then he kissed me, not just a kiss and good kiss, a passionate kiss I should have pulled away from and tried my hardest to keep the vomit down, but I didn't;
He backed away and I wiped my lips with the sleeve of my jumper pretending not to like it, but he could tell I did and he smiled biting his lip.
"See you around then, babe," he said sarcastically.
