The Day that changed my Life, chapter 4
First of all when I said before a few weeks later I meant a few months later...
***Recap***
I looked at the box it said, 'Blue for not pregnant, pink for pregnant'.
I closed my eyes for a second...
Then looked at the stick and smiled at Sophie with tears in my eyes.

"Claire please tell me what it says, the suspense is killing me!" Sophie yelled at me and grabbed the test from my shaking hand
I still couldn't speak or move, I was going to be a mother and yes, the test came out pink if the suspense was killing you.
"Oh my god Claire you're pregnant, you've got to call Billie and tell him!" She said while putting the test aside and grabbing her mobile phone from her jean's pocket. "Call him!" She said, shoving the phone in my face.
I had to sit down for this so I walked from the bathroom down the hall to the living room and sat on the sofa. I started to dial Billie's mobile number. He was at Mike's house having band practice.
Ring...Ring...Ring it seemed to ring for ages, then a familiar voice answered...
"Hello!"
"Hey Billie it's me!"
"Hey babes, what's up?"
"Babe, I've got some news some important news. Well, as you already know, I've been sick a lot lately, in the morning especially," I pause and took a long deep breath, "Well, I'm pregnant!"
I waited for a response which took awhile till I finally said...
"Billie you okay!" I heard him clear his throat,
"Oh my babes, I'm sorry it took a while to sink in." He giggled. "I'm so happy babe, our own little baby!"
I could hear Tre and Mike cheering in the background
"Okay me, Mike and Tre, we're going to cut practice short and come straight around to celebrate, see ya in bit hun. I'm so happy, I love you!"
"Me too babes, I love you too, see ya soon."
Then I closed Sophie's phone and got up from the sofa. She happened to be behind me the whole time, and came over and gave me a hug and said, "I told ya he would be okay about it. I'm so happy for you," And squeezed me in a tight hug.
I pulled away from her hug and said, "I'm going to get changed, Mike, Tre and Billie are coming over now to celebrate." As soon as I said Mike, Sophie face went red. She looked at me and said,
"Mike's coming? Oh okay.... I'm going to freshen up too."
I knew she had a crush on him since I started to date Billie, but she never had to guts to tell him. I think she may try and make a move tonight. She has had her fair share of bad relationships, one comes to mind, his name was Marshall. He was your normal high school jock who played for the high school football team, and their relationship ended on prom night. He was a complete ass that night, he was completely wasted and broke her heart.
***Flashback of prom night***
I was walking to the restrooms at the school prom night when I could hear my friend Sophie shouting and yelling.
All I could hear was, "Marshall why are you doing this to me? I thought you loved me!" I heard though her tears.
"Hun, I just don't love you like that anymore. I met someone else so just leave me alone. And do you honestly think I would leave to go to college still dating you?" I heard him smirk and say, "Oh you did, that's so sweet" and giggled at her.
When he finished she ran off still crying.
***End of flashback***
So there you go, since then she's had trouble trying to trust men, but I'm thinking she's trying to move on from that and carry on with her life. She dated after Marshall but they just didn't last long, so she was thinking of trying something with Mike if he would have her. But I knew something she didn't, he's wanted to ask her out for months now, but hadn't the courage to go and ask her. Hopefully this was the night they would hook up.
It was 9pm and the door came flying open, me and Sophie jumped up and saw Billie come running over to me. He swung me round and gave me big kiss on the lips, he put me back down and I said to him, "Billie could you come with me to the doctors tomorrow?"
"Of course babes. I'll be there every step of the way!" Smiling at me and kissing my nose.
Well the evening was going really well. Mike and Sophie were getting on very well in fact, and were already making out in the kitchen while Tre was drunk and running around the house saying he was superman. He is so funny that guy!
Me and Billie was sitting on the sofa, cuddling and kissing and didn't realize Tre was sitting in front of us staring and kissing the back of his hand saying, "Mmmm Claire you're so lovely."
So I grabbed the nearest thing which happened to be a pillow and chucked it at Tre's head who fell off the table and rolled over in laugher. Billie turns to me said, "I think I should get Tre and the others home, they all look wasted." Billie decided not to drink so he could drive the others home. He got up off the sofa and shouted to Mike, "Mike, I'm taking Tre home. Do you and Sophie wanna lift back to yours?"
Mike replied from the kitchen, "Yeah man, cheers!"
So I said my goodbyes to Sophie, Tre and Mike and gave Billie a kiss on his way out, and sat back down the sofa and turned on the TV. I started watching a film, a few minutes later I had fell asleep...
***Next Morning***
I awoke to the alarm in bed, realizing Billie must have taken me to bed when he came back from dropping the others at their houses. Billie was yawning and turning off the alarm and rolling back over to face me. I poked him in the cheek and said, "Billie come on, we got to get up and go to the doctors, remember? That's why the alarm went off."
He opened his eyes and said, "Sorry babes I nearly forgot. I'll get up now, only if you give me a nice good morning kiss," He giggled gave me one of his killer smiles that he knows I cant resist. I sighed and gave him a big passionate kiss and after I pulled away he jumps up from the bed and runs to get to the bathroom first. So I get my clothes for today ready and lay them out on the bed and walk down the stairs to the kitchen and make some coffee for me and Billie. I sat on the stool in the kitchen, sipping my coffee waiting for Billie get out the goddamn bathroom. I tell ya, he's worse than me. He takes very long showers. Half an hour later he a comes out of the bathroom as I'm walking up the stairs.
"Finally you decided to come out of there!"
He just giggled at me and carried on to the bedroom to get dressed. I walked in the bathroom and quickly showered. After my shower I got dressed and ready for my doctors appointment. When I was ready I grabbed my keys and me and Billie walked to his black BMW and got in and drove to doctors. Billie could tell I was nervous because I always bite my nails when I am nervous so he grabbed my hand.
He said, "Don't worry yourself babes, you'll be okay!" As soon has he said that I felt more relaxed and stopped biting my nails. We arrived at the doctors. I said to the receptionist who I was, she told us to take a seat and so we did and waited.
We waited for about ten minutes and got called, Billie took me by the hand and walked into the doctors office. The doctors told to take a seat so we sat and told him what's been happening. He told me to take a test now so I did what he said, and made it official that I was pregnant, and told me I had to see the nurse for scans so me and Billie sat back in the waiting room waiting to be called for the nurse. Ten minutes later the nurse called me and we walked into her office. I laid on the bed that was in the room and I lifted my top. She put that horrible jelly stuff on me, it was cold. Billie was holding on to my hand with a smile on his face.
The nurse started to rub the scanner on my belly and said, "Everything looks healthy here Miss Hunt, your babies have very strong heartbeats."
When she said babies, me and Billie looked at each other with a priceless look on our faces, I turned back round to the nurse and said,
"Babies? As in more than one?"
The nurse replies, "Yes, you're having twins! And you're four months pregnant." She continued to say, "Would you like to know the sex of your babies?"
Me and Billie replied in unison. "Yes!"
And there was a long pause while the nurse studied the scanner...
"Okay, you're having two baby boys."
