Airport Love, chapter 1
"Boys are total morons sometimes." Jade said.
"I know but they are just so cute. They do have that going for them." I said laughing. Jade and I were going to Mexico. Green Day had a concert so we were going down to rock out and party. We finally got to the airport. I took my Green Day luggage out of the back of the cab and walked with ticket in hand inside the airport. Jade grabbed her pink rolling luggage. We checked in our luggage and went to Starbucks and hung out. It was 8:30 am and we were sitting there and somebody tapped me on the shoulder.
I turned around and it was Mike Dirnt. "Oh God you're Mike Dirnt" I said in a high voice.
"Is your name Kim?" he said.
"Um yes why?" I said. "
I wanted to bring you with me on tour." he said.
"Why?" I asked shocked.
"You are just so beautiful and i want to get to know you better." he said.
"I would love to. One question though how do know my name?" I said.
"Your bag has it on it." he said.
"Jade can you believe it? Mike Dirnt just asked me to go on tour with him. I've been in love with him since fifth grade! He's just so dreamy." I was as giddy as a scholl girl. I had my hand in Mike's. Our fingers laced together and holding on for dear life.
"I am so jealous of you." Jade said looking at my hand.
"Hey Tre, where's Billie Joe?" Mike asked the greatest drummer in the world.
"I don't know but whose this fine looking girl." he said looking at me.
"My name is Kim and this is my best friend Jade." I said in awe of Tre.
"If you get Kim then I get Jade." he said this and then grabbed Jade and kissed her. She almost fainted when that happened.
Mike turned around looked me in the eye. "Am I allowed to kiss you?" He said voice trembling.
"Do you know how long I have waited to here those words leave your mouth?" I said. He bent his head and his soft lips locked with mine. I could his warm breath move through me. I was loving it and then Billie Joe walked up.
"Um am I interupting something?" he said in a weird voice.
"Nope." Tre said. Him and Jade finally came up from air and she nearly fell over. Mike and I were still into it. Tre and Billie Joe had to pull up upart. It was pretty funny to see that happen. We still kept our hands laced together. I was loving life.
"Flight 653 to Cabo San Lucas. Now boarding." a voice said over the intercom.
"Let's go guys. We are going to miss the flight." Tre said. His hand was now laced with Jade's. She turned around and gave me a thumbs up that this was best trip ever. I looked up to see Mike looking at me with the brightest blue eyes ever.
All of us got on the plane. I traded seats with Tre so that I could sit next to Mike. Tre was fine with that because he got to sit next to Jade. Billie Joe and his lovely wife, whose name i forgot, were sitting in the back of the plane. "Please Fasten your seatbelts and keep them on until the light says you may move around." the flight attendent said to us.
The plane took off and I put my Ipod in my ears for a minute. "Kim don't you want to do something else besides listen to your Ipod?" Mike said.
"You know it baby." I said as I leaned over to kiss him. He just sat there and let me bite his lips. He was smiling and then did something unbelievable. He bit back. We were just kissing our hearts out when Tre kicked the back of my chair. I looked behind me and Jade and Tre were making out there was no tomorrow.
The fight attendent walked by and saw all four of us just making out. " Would you like any water? How about pean-"
Tre got up for a brief second and said "Lady can't see we are doing something? Now would you please leave?" The attendent just looked shocked and left. Meanwhile up where Mike and I were, we were still making out.
"We are about to land. So please fasten your seat bealts and plese remain seated until we land. Thank You." the flight attendent said over the intercom. Tre and Jade were still pretty intense behind us. Mike and I had to take a five minute break.
" That's the best make out session ever!" I said.
" I think I have died and gone to heaven." he said smiling.
" Welcome to Cabo San Lucas" the fight attendent said over the intercom.
