Why Do You Have To Be So Damn Negative?, chapter 2
"Shhhh! She's asleep", I heard someone wisper, I think it was Mike.
"Not anymore", I said (being sarcastic).
"Cadence, the class is going bushwalking, do you want to go?"
BUSHWALKING! My most hated past time, apart from any sort of physical activity,
"Nah, I might just ditch it".
"Me too!" Tre said.
And just as I was about to scream and yell... Billie, Liv and Mike just left me!
"Hello sleepy head."
"Tre what do you want?" find it hard to belive, but I wasn't in the mood for arguing.
"Cadence, why do you have to be so damn negative?"
NEGATIVE??? Me negative?? Im the most un-negative person I know. Im definatly NOT negative. HA! Cadence Taylor negative, I don't think so.
"I'm not negative."
Tre shook his head. Whats that supposed to mean? Huh?
I sighed and laid down on the bed. "I'm not negative," I whispered.
Then the most weirdest thing happend... TRE KISSED ME. "Yeah you are."
Yeah that was weird. VERY WEIRD. I must have had a very confused look on my face, but I was very confused.
"What's wrong?" Tre asked. Gee, now I wonder.
"What did you do that for?"I couldn't think of anything else to say. So I said that.
"Caddie, your lonely."
Pffft."No I'm not."
Tre nodded, then it hit me. I was pretty lonely, I didn't get much attention, I've never had a boyfriend and no one really cared what I had to say (although they should!). So I was lonely,
"So?", I said.
"So, why?"
This really got me, how was I supposed to know why I was negative? "I don't know"
Tre looked away, he wasn't getting away that easy.
"You didn't answer my question."
"Uh, what was that?"
"Why did you kiss me Tre?"
He had a little smirk on his face, oh I wish I could just wipe that little smirk off his face. "Oh, that was just for fun."
FUN! Fun huh? Gosh I can't belive I was stupid enough to think it was real. "Thanks"
"Oh you thought it was real"
Of course I did. I folded my arms and gave Tre a long hard stare.
"No!" I said sarcastically. Ow it hurts. I guess I deserve it though.
"Nah, it was real."
"Well make up your mind, was it real or not?" God damn it!
"Yes it was real."
I threw my arms around Tre and kissed him on the lips.
"Just so you know it wasn't real".
I jumped of the top bunk and ran outside, I could feel my eyes filling up with tears.
"Cadence! It was real!" I could hear Tre shouting.
I ran faster into the forest, hoping to get lost but Tre was chasing after me.
I was running so fast I didn't see the huge rock in the way and fell over it.
"Ow! Fuck", I screamed in pain, but no one could hear me.
