This One Girl I Used To Know, chapter 3
Matt's P. O. V
Today is our show in Rebel's garage. I'm pretty exited. Karma and Rebel invited a few people, including the rest of The Crew, and some of the parents. We're gonna finally meet Billie Joe's family, or most of it. Well, yeah, I'm at Rebel's house right now. We're in the garage, setting things up. We were setting up the show when the family members came (Billie Joe's among them).
Karma steps up and says, "Hey you guys. Welcome to the first show of Cyanide. If we ever make an album, you guys will definitely be in the Thank You's. But first off, we're gonna introduce some band members. My name is Karma, the lead vocalist. This is Rebel, she actually started this band. She is lead guitarist and back up vocalist. Matt is our back up guitarist. Parker is on the drums and my boyfriend, Darren, is on the bass. So yeah, I hope you guys enjoy the show and also, after the show stick around because we're gonna have a PAR-TAY!"
Billie Joe's P. O. V
Karma just made the first introduction to the band. They just started playing. Wow, she's a really good singer, and Rebel looks really cool on the guitar and her voice is awesome.
1 hour later, still Billie Joe's P. O. V
The band has just finished playing. Now its time for The Crew to meet my family. Well, most of them anyway, my older brother Robert, my mom and Brad. I walked up to The Crew and said,
"What's up guys?" They all kinda said they're "hello's" together, but I could distinctively hear Rebel say, "Hey Babe."
I introduced my family and then I introduced The Crew. I could tell that my mom slightly disapproved of Darren, Kayla, Karma, Parker and James. She seemed fine with the rest. When I introduced Rebel, her eyes light up and she said, "Why aren't you the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen!" A little embarrassed, I looked at Rebel, who smiled one of her charming-heart-melting smiles. Rebel said, "Thank you ma'am." She gave me a nervous glance and I gave her an apologetic smile.
I kinda turned to Robert who was watching Rebel. He caught my eye and nodded his approval. I had told him about Rebel the day before and asked him to talk to her and see if he liked her. So we all kinda went inside the house and I saw Robert strike up a conversation with Rebel. She laughed and smiled at whatever he said. Just then I saw Brad come and sit next to me. He said,
"So, you like her huh? That Rebel girl." I nodded my head and he said,
"Well, she is a very charming girl. Your mother and I have agreed that you should have her over for dinner someday."
With that he walked away and left me there to think. I appreciate Brad saying that Rebel was a "charming girl", but that didn't make me all of a sudden like him. I sat there for a while, thinking. Suddenly Robert came over to me and told me that we were going home. I nodded my head and said, "Okay, I'll meet you guys outside." I walked over to Rebel and the other guys. I told them that I was gonna go home and that I'd see them on Monday. They all nodded their heads or said "bye".
I went home and slept. I finally woke up around 1:30 PM the next day. I had this new courage inside of me. I called Rebel and told her to meet me up at IHOP. I ran all the way there and waited for about 5 minutes. Then I saw Rebel walking towards me. She was wearing a black Sex Pistols Tee, dark blue jeans, and brand new black converse. She had her hair up in a ponytail and I noticed that she has taken out her lip ring. I jump up and greeted her. She smiled and hugged me.

"So Billie Joe, what's up with this whole IHOP thing?" He gave me a nervous look and said, "Well, I was thinking that we should, like, you know? Go out sometime."
I smiled. Is he asking me out? I said, "Are you asking me out?"
Again, he had that nervous look on his face and he said, "Umm, yeah, I guess I am."
I smiled and said, "Well, of course I will go out with you Billie Joe!"
