Hawthorne Heights (A Green Day Horror Story), chapter 5
The ghosts appeared in front of them. "Just where do you think you're going?" Melissa asked evily.
Mike was just about to speak when the male ghost butt in. "You're not going anywhere, and now that you tried to escape we're going to do some really bad things to you guys," He said. He grabbed Mike and covered his mouth so he couldn't scream. Mike dropped Billie. The female ghost grabbed Tre as he was going to see if Billie was okay. Melissa picked up Billie and all 3 of them walked back to the house. They brought them to the basement and chained them to a wall. They then went back upstairs.
"Mike?" Tre said, looking over.
"What?" He said looking at Tre.
"How are we going to get out of here? We're fucked now. Those ghosts are going to come back and kill us," Tre said.
"Don't worry Tre. We're going to get out of here. I just hope Billie's okay. I don't think he's going to wake up so soon. When the ghosts grabbed me I dropped him and I saw Melissa kick him in the head," Mike said.
They heard the ghosts come back. They had knives in their hands. Mike and Tre started shaking. "I told you you're in for it now. We're going to torture you until you die," He said. He walked over to Billie and started touching him.
"What's he doing?" Tre whispered.
"I don't know. It looks like he's going to rape him," Mike whispered to Tre.
The ghost then took out a needle and injected some liquid into Billie's body.
"What did you do? Mike asked the ghost.
"I poisened him. To make sure he doesn't wake up so soon. Don't worry you're going to get one too. Both of you are," The ghost said.
He walked over to Mike and injected the liquid into him. He then injected the liquid into Tre.
"You should be unconsious in about a minute," The female ghost said.
Mike was starting to feel woozy. He then passed out.
"Mike! NO! Wake up!" Tre screamed. He too passed out.
The ghost walked over to Billie and picked up the knife. He then put it over his head and came down to Billie's stomach. Before the blade went into him the ghost stopped.
"Why did you stop? Come on, stab him," The female ghost said.
"I thought I heard something upstairs," He said. He continued. He brought the blade over his head and stabbed Billie in the stomach.
"Wow. This place is so cool." A little kid said upstairs.
"Did you hear that?" The ghost asked.
"Yeah. Let's go get him," The female ghost said. All three of them went upstairs.
2 hours later
Mike was starting to wake up. He gasped when he saw the knife in Billie's stomach. "Tre?! Tre! Wake up," Mike said.
Tre was starting to stir. He opened his eyes. "Mike you're alive," He said. He screamed when he saw Billie. "They killed him," He said in tears.
"I know. I can't believe they killed him. Come on, let's try to get out of here," Mike said. He pulled on the chains. They were to strong. He kept pulling. Finally they started to break. He pulled again harder. They broke. Mike found a key on the table and undid Tre. He then unhooked Billie. He lay Billie onto the table and pulled the knife out. He checked to see if Billie was breathing. He was barely breathing and had a weak pulse. "Believe it or not Billie's still alive," Mike said.
"Wow. I can't believe it. I just hope he stays with us," Tre said. They looked around for a way out. they saw something on the other side. It looked like some of the wall was peeling. Mike and Tre went over to it and started tearing the wall away. It was a window. They opened it and climbed out. Mike carried Billie out and they ran as quietly as they could to the border. They finally got there and stepped passed the sign. The ghosts saw them and ran out.
"You idiots. You escaped," The male ghost said.
"That's right. Try and get us now," Mike said, running.
The ghost tried to run but couldn't go passed the sign.
"I told you. They can't go passed the sign," Mike said.
"I'll get you someday and when I do I'll kill you!" The ghost screamed.
Mike and Tre ran as fast as they could to the nearest hospital. They had to get Billie there immediately. He was dying. Just then a car passed. The driver noticed them and stopped.
"Do you need help?" He asked. He was a teenager, about 18.
"Yeah. We have to get him to a hospital. He's been stabbed," Mike said, referring to Billie.
"Okay. I'll give you a ride. The hospital isn't very far," The guy said.
"Thank you," Tre said. Tre got in the front and Mike got in the back with Billie.
"My name's Chris by the way," The guy said.
"Hi. I'm Tre and that's Mike and that's Billie," Tre said. "We're in a band called Green Day."
"Oh. I've heard of you guys. You guys rock," Chris said.
"Thank you. Is the hospital coming up? Billie's dying," Mike asked.
"Yea about 5 minutes," Chris said.
They finally got there and Mike ran with Billie into the emergency room.
"Help. I need a doctor over here. He's been stabbed!" Mike shouted.
A bunch of doctors came over with a strecher. They took Billie away from Mike and brought him into the E.R. Mike sat down with Tre and Chris. "I hope he's okay," Mike said.
"Don't worry. He will be," Tre said.
A doctor came out. He didn't look too happy. "Billie's not doing the best. His heart's beating but we're having trouble getting him to breathe," The doctor said.
Mike and Tre couldn't believe it. Billie was dying.
