Hawthorne Heights (A Green Day Horror Story), chapter 8
The ghost started making scratches on Billie's stomach. Mike had woken up and saw what she was doing to him. He got up and ran to her. "Leave him alone!" Mike shouted grabbing the knife.
The ghost turned around. Her eyes had turned black and she had a mad look on her face. Mike shivered. "Just who do you think you are grabbing that knife from me?" She said with anger in her voice.
"You are always trying to kill Billie. I'm not going to let you kill my best friend. Why do you want to kill him anyway? What the fuck did he ever do to you?" Mike asked.
"Stop asking questions. I....." She said being interupted by Mike.
"Answer my fucking question. What do you want with Billie?" Mike screamed.
"Ok. I went out with him a few years ago. We were perfect for each other. Then I found out he cheated on me with another girl that he got pregnant. He lied and said he didn't like me. So after that I went home and went mad. I killed my husband and my daughter. Then I killed myself. I want Billie to be dead too so he know what kind of pain he put me through," She said.
"That's a lie. Melissa said something like a 100 years ago these guys came in a killed all of you," Mike said.
"No. I just made that up so we would have a story to tell guests. Now will you get out of my way so I can do what I have been wanting to do for years," She said grabbing the knife out of Mikes hand.
"NO!" Mike screamed. He watched as the ghost stabbed Billie in the stomach a few times.
"Thats for cheating on me you bastard." She screamed and stabbed him one last time and left the knife in him. She then smiled evily at Mike and dissapeared.
Tre was starting to wake up. He saw Mike crying. "Whats wrong?" Tre asked.
"She killed him. The ghost killed Billie," Mike cried.
Tre gasped when he saw the knife in Billies stomach. "Why?" He asked
"She said she dated him and cheated on her with Adie. So she went mad and killed her family. Melissa lied. She said thats just a story they tell guests," Mike said.
They walked over to Billie. Tre pulled the knife out of Billie's stomach. "I can't believe he's gone," Tre said.
"Lets go home," Mike said.
They walked slowly out of Billies house.
They drove back to Mikes house. They sat down in the living room. The phone rang. Mike answered it.
"Hello? What! That can't be! Yes we'll be right over!" Mike said. He quickly hung up the phone.
"Who was that?" Tre asked.
"You are never going to believe this but Billie's alive. The police found him and brought him to the hospital. They want us to come over right now," Mike said.
"Wow. I can't believe he's alive. I wonder how that can be," Tre said.
"I did it. I saved him," A little girl's voice said.
