It All Started At The Meeting..., chapter 2
*Half an hour later at Adie's soccer meeting*
*Billie's POV*
"So Adie how's the meeting?" I asked grabbing a cookie from the table we had set up downstairs before anyone arrived.
"It's going...well," Adie replied with question in her voice.
"That's good, is everything alright." I was beginning to get worried.
"Yeah everything fine it's just, Joey is really stressed with soccer tryouts coming up and everything, I'm worried that he might loose focus with everything else" Adie sounded really worried.
"Don't worry about it hun, I'm sure Joey will do just fine and balance everything out," I assured my wife, giving her a hug.
"I'm sure he will it's just, I'm afraid that if he doesn't make the team he will be crushed and not want to do anything anymore." I could tell Adie was really worried.
"Joey will be just fine and if, in the end he doesn't make the team there is always next year. Besides Joe is already on two teams," I was trying everything I could to assure my wife that our oldest son would be just fine.
"True," she said with a 'you're so right,' look on her face.
*2 hours later in Jakob's room*
*Jakob's POV*
"Hi ya' Goldy how are you today?" I asked looking into my pet goldfish's bowl.
"Jake, who are you talking to?" Joey asked as he walked into my room.
"Goldy," I replied
"You do know Goldy is a fish, which means he can't speak English nor does he understand it," Joey said all smarty-pantsish.
"How do YOU know just because your in middle school DOESN'T mean you automatically know everything. Besides you don't speak fish so how would you know if he understands me." I was very proud of my response.
"Fine whatever just, try to keep it down okay I have to study for a HUGE test tomorrow," Joey said surprisingly nicely.
"Okay...sure," I said figuring if HE was nice then I HAD to be.
*Billie's POV*
