My life as Tré Cool's Daughter, chapter 11
A couple of weeks passed and I decided not to see Joey for a while, just in case something happened again. He understood. We talked on the phone and the computer constantly though.
Today, Maddie was going for her ultrasound. We all got ready to go to the doctor's. I walked down the stairs and Zoey barked at me.
"I'll see you later Zoey!" I said giving her a hug.
We got into the van.
"I'm so excited," Ramona said
"We all are," Maddie said smiling.
We walked into the doctor's office. The doctor did an ultrasound on Maddie.
"OK, well you are having a boy and a girl," The doctor said.
"Cool!" Frankito said.
"OK. Everything looks fine. Come back in three months for another ultrasound," The doctor said.
That night we had everyone over to celebrate.
"Hi!" I said as I ran over to give Joey a hug.
"Hi," He said.
Everyone sat down to eat.
"OK, now what are you guys having?" Uncle Mike asked.
"We're having a boy and a girl!" Dad said.
"Congratulations!" They all said.
"So, have you thought of any names?" Emma asked.
"Actually, we have." Dad said.
"So far we have thought of Katie, Alyson and Aiden," Maddie said.
"Those are good names," Aunt Adie said.
"I think those are the names we're going to pick," Dad said.
We heard All By Myself playing.
"Oops...I forgot to shut my phone off... one sec." I said.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi," Rose said.
"Oh, hey Rose how was your trip?" I asked.
"It was good. We came back yesterday. Do you wanna come over tonight for a little bit?" She asked.
"Well, everyone is here right now for supper so when we're done eating I'll ask my dad and I'll call you back, OK?" I said.
"OK. Bye," She said.
"Bye," I said.
I went back to the table. Everyone finished supper.
"Bye Joey," I said giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye," He said.
After everyone left I went to talk to Dad and Maddie.
"Can I go to Rose's house tonight for a little bit?" I asked.
"Well..." Dad said.
"Please Dad," I said.
"OK, fine," Dad said.
"Thanks Dad. I'm going to call Rose back," I said.
I went up to my room to call Rose.
"Hello," She said.
"Hi," I said.
"I can go over," I said.
"OK, we'll pick you up in like 15 minutes," She said.
"Okay," I said.
I got my stuff ready and said goodbye to Zoey, who was sleeping on her bed.
I walked downstairs.
"Abby. They're here," Maddie said.
"Ok...bye!" I said. "Bye Dad!"
"Bye," He said.
"Hi," I said getting into the car.
"Hey," She said giving me a hug.
"Guess what," I said.
"What?" She asked.
"I'm gonna have another brother and sister," I said.
"We found out today," I said.
"That's awesome," She said.
"Yep," I said.
"I gotta tell you something after," I said.
"Ok," She said.
We got to her house and went upstairs to her room.
"So...what did you wanna tell me?" She asked.
"My dad and Maddie caught me and Joey kissing on the couch," I said.
"That's not that bad," She said.
"That's not all of it," I said.
"He was laying on top of me," I said.
"OK, now that's bad. So what happened?" She asked.
"Well, Dad told Joey to go home and he had a little chat with me...but it wasn't that bad. I just scared him...everything is settled now. Dad talked to Uncle Billie and they talked to Joey," I said.
"Yeah, if my parents would've caught me doing that, they'd be mad too," Rose said laughing.
"Then I avoided Joey for like a month. We talked on the phone and on MSN constantly, but we didn't see each other until tonight. He understood why I decided that. Just in case something happened again," I said.
"So, how was it at supper?" Rose asked.
"It was okay. Nobody said anything about what happened. All we talked about were the twins," I said.
"In five months they'll be born, and then after that Dad and Maddie are getting married," I said.
"Cool. Do they have any names picked out yet?" She asked.
"Yeah, so far they have thought of Katie, Alyson and Aiden," I said.
"Cool."
I heard All By Myself playing.
"One sec," I said.
"Hello," I said.
"Hi," Joey said.
"Joey!" I said laughing.
"Where are you?" He asked.
"At Rose's house, why?" I said.
"Do you wanna guys come to the movies with me, Stella and Ramona?" He asked.
"I do, one sec," I said.
"Do you wanna go to the movies with Joey, Stella and Ramona?" I asked.
"Sure," She said.
"Okay, we'll go. Since Ramona's going my dad must know right?" I asked.
"Yeah, he knows him and my dad said that since it's a public place they trust us...and since Rose, Ramona and Stella will be there," He said.
"That's true," I said laughing.
"Okay, meet us at the theater at 8:30, 'cause the movie starts at 9:00," He said.
"What time is it now?" I asked.
"Quarter to eight," He said.
"Okay, we'll start walking. Bye. I love you," I said.
"Love you, too," He said.
"OK, we need to start walking now cause we need to meet them there at 8:30 cause the movie starts at 9:00," I said.
"OK. MOM! WE'RE GOING TO THE MOVIES!" Rose said.
"OK!" Rose's mom said.
We started walking. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the theater.
"Joey!" I said.
Joey, Stella and Ramona came over.
"Hi," He said and kissed me.
"Ramona, do you have my money? I asked.
"Yep," She said giving me 10 dollars.
"What movie do you wanna see?" Joey asked.
"Let's go see Barnyard!" I said.
"OK," They all said.
We went to buy our tickets and get our popcorn. Then we went into the theater. Me and Joey were holding hands. We got our seats and soon the movie started. After the movie Dad came to pick us up. He dropped Rose off at her house.
"Was the movie good?" Dad asked.
"It was awesome!" We all said.
"That's good," He said.
We dropped off Stella and Joey. Then we went home. Frankito was upstairs in his room, and Maddie was watching TV in the living room.
"What movie did you guys go see?" Maddie asked.
"Barnyard," I said.
"How was it?" She asked.
"It was awesome," I said.
"Cool," Maddie said.
"How was Rose's trip?" Maddie asked.
"It was good," I said.
"That's good," Maddie said.
"So...how are things with you and Joey?" Dad asked.
"We're good," I said.
"That's good," Maddie said.
"Well, I'm going to bed," Maddie said.
"So am I," Dad said.
"I think I'm gonna go to bed too," I said.
"Goodnight," I said.
"Goodnight," They said.
