Gabriella made the invitations and they turned out really good. She sent them out.
We gave Rose's mom her invitation and we gave Jimmy's mom her invitation.

It was Christmas Eve and everyone came over to my house. We all opened our presents. It's always a busy Christmas at my house. Even if Uncle Billie, Aunt Adie, Joey, Jakob, Uncle Mike, Emma and Stella are there. Zoey got some toys from everyone. She liked playing with the wrapping paper.
We stayed up really late. Me and Joey were sitting on the couch and we both fell asleep laying on the couch together.
"Look at that," Maddie said laughing.
"They must have been really tired," Dad said laughing.
Aunt Adie went and found the camera. She shut the flash off so it wouldn't wake us up and she took our picture. Uncle Billie went and found a blanket and put it over us.
All the kids were sleeping over at my house. They had all gotten their sleeping bags and put them on the floor in the living room.

I woke up the next morning and Joey was laying beside me.
"Joey?" I said shaking him a little bit.
"What?" Joey said half asleep.
"We fell asleep on the couch," I said laughing.
"Oh," he said kissing me.
"Merry Christmas," I said giving him a kiss.
"Merry Christmas," he said.
Dad and Maddie were in the kitchen so me and Joey walked into the kitchen. Joey was just waking up.
"Merry Christmas," I said giving Dad a hug.
"Merry Christmas," he said.
"Merry Christmas," I said giving Maddie a hug.
"Merry Christmas," she said.
"So what are we going to do today?" I asked.
"Everyone's coming over for supper. Maddie's 3 sisters and their husbands and Maddie's brother and his wife are coming over. And their kids Emily, Kayla, Jasmine, Luke and Landon," Dad said.
"Cool," I said.
Everyone came over for supper. Landon and Kayla are Amy's kids and they are 5, Emily and Jasmine are Desiree's kids and they are 6 and Luke is Trent's kid and he is 7, and of course there's Savannah. So I will have 6 new cousins when Dad and Maddie get married. I guess twins are common in Maddie's family. There are already 2 sets of twins.
After supper everyone left. It was a busy day; there were 25 people at my house today and a whole bunch of little kids running around. Me and Joey fell asleep again on the couch. God we were tired. They just left us there. Uncle Billie, Aunt Adie, Uncle Mike, Emma, Stella and Jakob all left.

It was the day of the baby shower and we were setting everything up. Maddie's mom or soon I will be calling her Grandma had Maddie back at the house. It was 11:00 and we had everything almost ready. Maddie was going to come at 12:00. We had the tables and chairs set up in Aunt Adie's backyard. We were going to put the food out at 12:00. Our presents were all on a table. All we needed was the guests and Maddie.
At 12:00 we called Grandma and told her to bring Maddie over.
"Wow. This looks great," Maddie said.
"Thank you guys," she said.
Everyone came and Maddie opened her gifts. She got a lot of clothes, bottles and all that kinds of stuff. She got 2 swings: a pink one and a blue one. We played some games and then we had lunch.
She thanked everyone for coming and then everyone left.
Dad came to get all of the presents and brought them home. We all put the tables and chairs away. Then we went home.
Maddie sorted everything out and we put the stuff away. She has a drawer for the girl clothes and a drawer for the boy clothes. We put the swings together and put them in the room.
We had supper and then we went to bed. It had definitely been a long day.
