"Where's Joey, Jakob and Frankito?" asked Stella.
"Joey walked away just as Abby ran off and Frankito and Jakob went to go play with their friends," replied Ramona.
"So Abby, what exactly happened?" asked Ramona.
"We didn't know you liked Joey," said Rose.
"I knew," said Stella.
"OK first, I'll tell you guys what happened then I'll tell you why I didn't tell you I liked Joey."
"Ummm I think I'm gonna go find Joey," Said Jimmy
"OK," They all answered.
"OK, now spill. What happened?" said Rose.
"OK, well, you know how I asked Joey if I could talk to him for a second, well I asked him why he was well "lost in space" lately and as soon as I finished talking he kissed me... .and I kissed back. Well at first it surprised me but then I kissed back, and the reason why I didn't tell you guys that I liked Joey because you'd tell him or tell Frankito or Jakob and they'd either tell him or run around singing Abby likes Joey or Abby and Joey sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
"Ok, we understand," They all replied.
"I'm gonna talk to him later though," I said
The bell rang so everyone went back to their classes.
"Joey, can I talk to you later?" I asked
"Sure." He answered nervously.
We got to work in partners for the work we were doing so I went with Rose and Joey went with Jimmy. We were actually a group of four even though it was supposed to be two people to a group.
The bell rang and it was time for lunch. Before going to the cafeteria I decided it was a good time to talk to Joey.
"Hey, Joey can you come here for a sec?" I asked
"Ya." He answered
"Joey we need to talk... " I said
"About the kiss, I know." Joey said.
"OK the reason why I kissed you was because well I like you a lot and Stella told me that you felt the same way. Don't worry, Stella said she wouldn't have said anything if I hadn't told her how I felt, and since it's your birthday today I thought what would be a better present than for me to ask you to be my girlfriend," Joey said.
"Aww, Joey! That's an awesome present thank you! Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" I said kissing him on the cheek.
"Is that why you were acting weird today? I know the hyper thing was cause of Jakob though," I said, laughing.
"Ya, that's why I was acting weird today," He said.
We walked to the cafeteria holding hands. Ramona, Stella and Rose squealed when they saw us holding hands and they came running to give me a hug.
"So you guys are a couple now?" asked Ramona.
"Yep," I answered.
"Umm...Jakob and Frankito know so that means dad, Uncle Billie and Aunt Adie will find out," said Ramona.
"Don't you just love little brothers!" I said to Joey.
He laughed.
"I think your dad will react differently than my dad because you're his little girl. My dad will probably give me a high five and say "Way to go Joey!!" Joey said.
We all laughed because that is exactly what Uncle Billie will say.
"At least we get to go shopping tonight! And there's no school tomorrow because it's a holiday! Do you wanna come with us? You can help us pick out stuff for my party," I said to Joey.
"Sure. It sounds like fun," Joey replied.
"Oh ya, Jimmy you're invited to my party on Saturday," I said to Jimmy
"Ok what do you want for your birthday?" He asked.
"Ummm I'm not sure...I'll get back to you on that," I said.
"Ok," He said.
"Here's the details to my party. Oh ya and don't tell anyone where the party is going to be or that I'm having a party," I said.
"Why?" he asked.
"You'll see on Saturday," I said.
