My life as Tré Cool's Daughter, chapter 4
It was the end of the day and we all went to get on the bus. Rose was sleeping over at my house that night so she took the bus with us.
We said goodbye to Jimmy and I said I would call him to tell him what I want for my birthday. I sat with Joey, Ramona sat with Stella, Jakob sat with Frankito and Rose sat in the seat beside me and Joey.
We got off the bus and walked to my house. When I opened the door my dad, Aunt Adie, Uncle Billie and Uncle Mike were at the door screaming, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"
I laughed, thinking about this morning. We went to sit down in the living room. We told everyone about Jimmy. Then of course Jakob and Frankito screamed out, "Joey and Abby are going out!"
Dad spit out his drink and Uncle Billie gave Joey a high five and said, "Way to go Joey!"
We were all rolling on the floor laughing because we knew he would say that and because of the look on my dad's face. We changed the subject and started talking about my party on Saturday.
It was Thursday so we had two days to buy all the stuff we needed. We decided that we were going to eat at the mall. We said goodbye to everyone and got in my dad's car. We talked to whole way there about what we should get.
When we got there we went to buy some paper plates and cups. Then we went to get the junk food. We got some chips, pop, and candy. We were going to order pizza so we didn't need to get anything for supper.
We started to get hungry so we went to get some fries in the food court. When we were finished eating they went to buy me my birthday presents while I waited in the food court. I saw Jimmy at the other side of the food court so I went to go see him.
"Hi Jimmy," I said.
"Hi Abby, this is my mom. Mom this is Abby, one of my friends. The one who's birthday party is on Saturday," He said.
"Hi," I said.
"Hi Abby," She said.
"I know what I want for my birthday now," I said, laughing.
"Either a band T-shirt, a CD or a band DVD," I said.
"What bands do you like?" He asked.
"Green Day, Simple Plan, Taking Back Sunday, AFI, Angels and Airwaves and Fall Out Boy," I answered.
"Okay, I know what I'm going to get you," He said, laughing.
"Where's Joey, Stella, Rose and Ramona?" he asked.
"They're looking for birthday presents for me," I said.
"That didn't take long," I said as Stella and Ramona walked over.
"Where's Rose and Joey?" I asked.
"Rose was just getting in line at the cash and I'm not sure where Joey is," said Ramona.
"Here comes Rose," said Stella
"Hey Jimmy!" they all said.
"Well, I'm gonna go buy your birthday present. See you guys on Saturday!" he said.
"OK, bye Jimmy. If you see Joey tell him to hurry up," I said
"Ok I will!" he said.

"OK do we have everything?" I asked.
"Paper plates, cups, junk food, presents... wait Abby you need an outfit!" Stella said.
"OK we'll wait for Joey to finish shopping so he knows where we are," I said.
"Look there he is now," said Ramona.
"Joey we're going to go get something but we need you to stay here because it's a surprise," I said.
"OK, I'll be right here," He said.
We went to go find me an outfit. It took us forever to find the perfect one. But finally we found a really pretty red dress.
"Joey's gonna love it," Ramona said.
"OK, let's go get Joey and I'll call my dad to come pick us up," I said.
"What do you wanna do when we get back to my place?" I asked.
"Let's watch a movie," I said.
"OK, how about The Omen?" Ramona said.
"Frankito probably won't wanna watch it, but oh, well we don't need him," I said, laughing.
Just then my dad showed up.
We put all the stuff we bought in the trunk and got in the car.
"Dad, can we watch a movie when we get home?" I asked.
"Sure," He said.
"Can Joey stay to watch the movie?" I asked.
"Sure," He answered.
We pulled into the driveway and got all our stuff out of the trunk.
We put the food in the kitchen then went to go get ready for the movie.
Me and Joey sat on one couch, Stella, Rose and Ramona sat on the other couch while junk food, pillows and blankets were on the floor. Joey put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder. A scary part came and I jumped and scared Joey so he fell off the couch. He got back on the couch. Another scary part came and Stella screamed.
The movie finished and Joey had to leave. I gave him a hug and kissed him. He was going to come back the next morning.
We stayed up for a little bit and talked about stuff that was going on at school and other stuff. We were all tired from shopping so we went to sleep.
