My life as Tré Cool's Daughter, chapter 5
The next morning I woke up and Joey was sitting on the couch staring at me.
"Hi," I said with a smile on my face.
"You're so cute when you sleep," he said.
"How long have you been here?" I asked.
"About 10 minutes," he said looking at his watch.
Rose woke up and stretched.
"Hey love birds!" she said, laughing.
"When did you wake up and when did you get here?" she asked me and Joey.
"I woke up about 5 minutes ago," I said.
"I got here about 15 minutes ago," said Joey.
"Cool," she said.
Stella and Ramona woke up 5 minutes later.
"I'm so excited about tomorrow!" I said.
"Me too, I wanna know what that surprise is," said Joey.
"Oh ya, the surprise!" I said getting on the couch and sitting beside Joey.
I gave him a hug. He kissed me on the cheek just as my dad walked in. I'm surprised that he didn't say anything about it. Maybe because he knows Joey extremely well and knows that he won't break my heart. All he said was, "What are you guys planning on doing today?"
"Umm I think we're gonna go swimming," I said.
"OK have fun," he said.
"Let's go get our bathing suits on and get Jakob and Frankito," I said.
"Ok I have to go get my bathing suit anyways," said Joey.
We got our bathing suits on and went to Joey's house.
"Hi aunt Adie!" I said as she opened the door.
"Hi guys," she said.
"Frankito, Jakob!! Do you guys wanna go swimming?" I asked.
"Sure!" they said.
Jakob went to get his bathing suit.
"I'm gonna call Jimmy to see if he wants to come," said Rose.
"OK," we said. Rose went to call Jimmy.
"He can come," She said.
"What do you think he'll say when he finds out who we are?" I asked.
"He's a guy so it won't be like when Rose found out," Joey said, laughing.
Rose stuck her tongue out at Joey. We all laughed. Five minutes later Jimmy came.
"OK let's go swimming," I said.
We went to get the pool toys out of the shed.
I was in the shallow end talking to Rose when someone that was under water came up to me and tickled my feet. I turned around to see Joey standing behind me. I laughed and gave him a hug. He lifted me up and threw me in the water.
"Hey!" I said.
He laughed. Jimmy came behind Rose and did the same.
"Hey!" she said.
"You guys have to watch out cause you never know when we'll sneak up on you!" said Jimmy giving Joey a high-five. Me and Rose rolled our eyes.
*Frankito's P.O.V*
"Hey Jake come here for a second," I said.
"Ya," Jakob answered.
"Have you noticed what I've noticed?" I asked.
"I don't know, what have you noticed?" Jakob answered.
"I think Rose likes Jimmy," I said.
"I think Jimmy likes Rose," Jakob said.
"Let's hook them up!" I said.
"Great idea!" Jakob said.
"OK I have a plan." I said. "I'll go to Rose and ask her if she likes Jimmy and if she says yes then I'll say that you and me and hook them up and you do the same for Jimmy. But don't say it too loud. Like wait till he's alone," I said.
"OK!" Jakob said.
"Look Rose is alone, go talk to her," Jakob said.
"OK and when Jimmy is alone you go talk to him," I said.
"OK," Jakob said.
"Rose can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Sure," Rose answered.
"Do you like Jimmy?" I asked.
"Umm...why do you ask?" Rose replied while her face was getting red.
"Because me and Jakob can hook you guys up. We think he likes you. We've noticed by the way he's been acting with you and the way you've been acting with him. It's obvious that you like him!" I said.
"OK fine I like him...is it really that obvious?" Rose asked.
"Yep," I answered.
"OK well how can you hook us up?" Rose asked.
"You'll just have to wait and see!" I said with a smile on my face.
*End of Frankito's P.O.V*
*Jakob's P.O.V*
"Hey Jimmy can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Sure," He answered.
"Do you like Rose?" I asked.
"Why do you ask?" Jimmy replied nervously.
"Because me and Frankito can hook you guys up. We think she likes you. We've noticed by the way she's been acting with you and the way you've been acting with her. It's obvious that you like her!" I said.
"OK fine I like her... is it really that obvious?" Jimmy asked.
"Yep," I answered.
"OK well how can you hook us up?" Jimmy asked.
"One sec, I have to talk to Frankito first," I said.
"OK," He replied.
"Hey Frankito come here," I said.
"How'd it go?" He asked.
"He likes her!" I said.
"How'd it go with you?" I asked.
"She likes him!" Frankito answered.
"OK let's go see Jimmy. I have another idea," Frankito said.
"OK." I answered.
*Back to Frankito's P.O.V*
"Hey Jimmy," I said.
"Hey!" he said.
"I have an idea," I said
"OK what is it?" He said.
"For you to ask out Rose," I said.
"The only thing is how are you going to ask her out?" I said.
"Oh I know, I know!" Jakob said jumping up and down.
"What is it Jakob?" I asked.
"OK well, when we're all goofing around in the pool you pick her up and when she's screaming whisper in her ear. Will you be my girlfriend?" Jakob said.
"OK that's a good idea," Jimmy said.
"OK go get her!" I said laughing.
"OK!" He said.
*Back to Abby's P.O.V*
Stella, Ramona, Rose and I are making a plan to get back at the guys.
Just then Jimmy comes behind Rose and picks her up. She was screaming at him to put her down but he wouldn't listen. Then he whispered something in her ear. I looked over at Jakob and Frankito and they were smiling. What were they up to now? Rose gave Jakob and Frankito a thumbs up sign and hugged Jimmy. Jimmy let Rose down and she swam over to us.
"Jimmy asked me out!" she said excitedly.
"Awesome!" I said and hugged her.
My dad came out and did a cannonball into the pool making a huge wave.
Jimmy didn't really react to who my dad was.
"Let's play Marco Polo!" Dad said.
"OK but you're it," I said.
"Awww... " He said.
"OK shut your eyes dad!" I said.
"Marco!" he screamed.
"Polo!" we all screamed.
Eventually he got Stella.
Then we decided to get out of the pool and go inside. It was getting late and we had been in the pool all day. We decided to go watch a movie. My dad said that Joey, Jimmy and Jakob could sleep over but they had to sleep in Frankito's room.
Jimmy called his mom and she said it was OK. She said she would drop off my present tomorrow morning. We all went in my room to watch a movie.
We decided to watch Napoleon Dynamite. Me and Joey sat on the couch with Jimmy and Rose and Stella, Jakob, Ramona and Frankito say on the floor. I had my head on Joey's shoulder and he had his arm around me. Same with Jimmy and Rose. Time flies when you're having fun.
The movie was over. I said goodnight to Joey and gave him a kiss and a hug. Rose gave Jimmy a hug and said goodnight. The boys went up to Frankito's room. We stayed up for a little bit. Tomorrow was gonna be a big day. Dad and his girlfriend Maddie, Uncle Billie, Aunt Adie, Uncle Mike and his girlfriend Emma, Joey, Jimmy, Ramona, Stella, Frankito, Jakob, and Rose were all gonna be there. Eventually we all fell asleep.
"Hi," I said with a smile on my face.
