My life as Tré Cool's Daughter, chapter 9
*Dad's P.O.V*
I woke up and Maddie wasn't in bed. I went into the bathroom and she was rinsing out her mouth.
"This is so much fun!" she said sarcastically.
"Don't worry it will only last for about three months," I said giving her a hug.
"What time is the doctor's appointment at?" Maddie asked as we walked into the kitchen.
"11:00," I answered.
"And what time is it now?" she asked.
"10:00," I said.
"OK we better get the kids up," Maddie said.
"I'll wake up Frankito and you wake up the girls," I said.
"OK," she said.
We went to wake up the kids.
We all ate breakfast then got ready to go to Maddie's doctor's appointment. The kids weren't going to school today.
We got to the doctor's appointment and the doctor took us in right away. The doctor did an ultrasound on Maddie.
"There's your baby...well actually babies..." the doctor said pointing to the screen.
"What do you mean babies?" Maddie asked.
"You're having twins," the doctor said.
"Oh my God! Tré, we're having twins!" Maddie said.
"Awesome!" the kids said.
"Oh God, so now there's a chance of it being two boys! I can deal with one boy but not two!" Ramona said.
We laughed.
"You're due in February. Come back in September for another ultrasound and we will be able to tell if it is two boys, two girls or a boy and a girl.
*Back to Abby's P.O.V*
We decided to go out for lunch to celebrate and then to go shopping for baby stuff. Well actually to look at some stuff since we didn't know if the babies were boys or girls yet.
We went to the store and bought two cribs. I know it's going to be 8 ½ months before the babies will be born but we might as well get the shopping over with now. We bought a double stroller, two playpens, and two change tables. We put some of the stuff in the van and the rest we got delivered.
We decided to go to Uncle Mike's house. Stella, Joey and Jakob would be coming home soon. When they got there we told them the big news.
Me, Joey, Stella and Ramona decided to go back home.
"Dad, we're going home," I said.
"OK," he said.
We walked in the door and all the baby stuff was there.
"Holy shit, think you guys got enough baby stuff," Joey said laughing.
We went to watch TV. Joey and Stella went home for supper. We ate supper.
After supper we put all of the baby furniture together. When the babies will be born Ramona and I will have to share a bedroom and since mine is the biggest we are going to move all of Ramona's stuff in my room. We moved all of her stuff in my room. We put the furniture in the babies' room. We didn't paint the walls yet but we will when we find out if they are a boy and a girl or two boys or two girls. Tomorrow we had school so we went to bed early.
