"What's bad with that? Shouldn't you be happy for them?" Sam asked, puzzled.
"Yeah! I know! But the day I find out Adrienne dumped me, Mike goes ahead and gets engaged!" he shouted and Sam raised her eyebrows.
"Forget I said anything," she whispered to herself and switched on the T.V.
"Don't mumble at me!" Billie Joe yelled.
"Hey! Calm down, dude!" Tre said as Sam downed some more painkillers. "Take it easy!"
"Oh yeah! Did I mention that you two hooked up! Man! What a great day everyone is having apart from me!" he screamed and kicked one of the bags that lay on the floor.
"Forgive me if this hurts you, Tre, but I seriously need to do it to shut him up, okay?" Sam asked Tre. He nodded.
"I understand, but I don't think it'll work," Tre said.
"Trust me, it will," Sam said and winked at him. She walked around the corner where Billie Joe was searching for his eyeliner, yelling as much swearwords as possible. Sam tapped him on his shoulder.
"What?" he yelled and stood up and turned around. She grabbed him by the tie and pulled him towards her, into a good French. Tre stood there with his mouth wide open. She let go and walked back into the area where the T.V. was and sat on the couch. Tre joined her.
"Tell me you didn't just do that," he said and stared at her.
"It worked didn't it?" she asked.
"Yeah, but... don't worry," Tre said and looked the other way. Sam took his head in her hands and gave him a much better kiss than she had just given to Billie Joe. "Ooohhh, what did I do?"
"Nothing," she said and started to watch the drama movie on T.V., acting like nothing had happened. Tre raised his eyebrows, then decided to watch the movie while Billie Joe was quiet. When the movie was half way through, Billie Joe sat down and watched it with them. He remained quiet until the end of the movie.
"Well, that was good," Billie Joe said as the credits rolled.
"Yup," Tre said and stood up and stretched. "Do we have popcorn here?"
"Think so," Sam said and he went into the kitchen area in search of popcorn.
"You know, that was a good kiss," Billie Joe admitted when he heard the opening and shutting of the cupboards.
"It was meant to be so you'd shut up."
"Well, do you want to do it again?" Billie Joe looked shyly up at her.
"No," Sam replied. What kind of person was he?
"You sure? Cause you could dump Tre and we could run away together and begin all over again," he suggested.
"Hmmm, okay!" Sam said with a grin. Then her face turned blank. "No."
"Found it!" Tre shouted happily from the kitchen. "How do you work this thing?" Sam got up and walked into the kitchen.
"You idiot. You don't put it in the fridge, you put it in the microwave," Sam said and rolled her eyes.
"Oh. Oops," Tre said and took it out of the fridge and put the bag inside the dishwasher.
"Microwave," Sam said simply.
"That is the microwave though," he said as she took it out and put it inside the microwave, pushed a few buttons and stared back at Tre.
"Ooohhh. I thought that was something else," he said quietly and looked at the ground. When it beeped to say it was finished, Sam took it out, put the popcorn in a bowl and went to sit back down to watch the next program that was on. It was a live celebrity information program hosted by Matthew and Rose.
"Hi, and welcome to Goss, the only show where celebrity gossip is revealed to you," Rose introduced with a big smile.
"On today's show, we will have the gossip on Lindsay Lohan's new album, and who we caught with who when we were filming her, some more news on Brad and Ange, we'll speak live to Britney Spears and Adam Levine, and much, much more!" Matthew said.
"First up, Lindsay's new album! Here's a preview of her new album! And at the end we'll show you a cut scene, featuring...well, you can't just wait to find out!" Rose said and a five-minute Lindsay Lohan documentary came on, showing her recording her new album and Lindsay talking behind the scenes.
"Well, that's great Lindsay! I'm sure this album will be amazing!" Matthew said. "And now, the cut scene that only we have! Check out who Lindsay meets up with afterwards and who she's with!" They played a new clip that was when Lindsay was talking to Sam with the rest of Green Day behind her. Sam dropped the handful of popcorn she was about to put into her mouth. Billie Joe stopped chewing and Tre dropped the whole bowl of popcorn all over himself and Sam, but they didn't notice. The T.V. repeated the whole conversation from Sam saying hi to Lindsay to Mike talking about her getting tattoos.
"So? Sam Scott is with Green Day, she wears heavy eyeliner and now has tattoos! What is next for Sam Scott?" Rose asked the audience, but not expecting a reply. "Now we'll speak to Adam Levine, who has also just witnessed the footage."
"So, Adam," Matthew said to Adam Levine who was sitting on a big comfy blue couch.
"How does that make you feel?"
"Where to start?" Adam said, then mumbled something to himself. The only sounds to be heard were some swear words, obviously referring to Sam and Green Day. Sam leaned over Billie Joe and grabbed the remote. She pushed mute and raised her eyebrows.
"That came out way to early," she said and stared at the T.V. where her ex-boyfriend was probably going on and on about her. Billie Joe's cell phone started to ring.
"Hullo?" he said. "Yeah, we saw it....Unbelievable isn't it? Well, good for you. Have fun....That's your brilliant idea?....I don't think so..." He glanced at Sam and Tre.
"You don't think what?" Tre asked suspiciously.
"Or that... Maybe once or twice, but no... Hell no!" Billie Joe said. "Okay dokey, I'll give it a go. But if it don't work, you are seriously in the shit man...K...see ya." Billie Joe hung up.
"Mike?" Sam guessed.
"Yup. He's gonna celebrate all night long with Anastasia tonight," Billie Joe said.
"And, the rest of it?" Tre questioned and Billie Joe made a confused face. "When you looked at us and were saying don't think so and stuff?"
"Oh, yeah," Billie Joe said and looked away.
"Don't bother if it's too embarrassing," Sam said and Billie Joe nodded.
"Sounds good to me," Billie Joe said and started to change the channel. "I'm going to see if they have any movies on DVDs for us to watch at the reception okay?" He quickly walked out the door, leaving Sam and Tre alone.
"Okay. Bye," Sam said to herself and started to pick up popcorn off the couch where Billie Joe was sitting.
"Sorry about that," Tre said and picked up the popcorn on him. Soon it was all cleaned up and Billie Joe returned with a very long movie that lasted until it was time to eat again. Room Service delivered some dinner and after that they watched the wrestling on T.V. while Tre started to braid Sam's long hair. They stayed up for a while after, watching another program and then they went to bed, Sam having small braids on the top layer of her hair. Sam sharing with Tre who had promised he would be sensible that night.
"What's bad with that? Shouldn't you be happy for them?" Sam asked, puzzled.
"Yeah! I know! But the day I find out Adrienne dumped me, Mike goes ahead and gets engaged!" he shouted and Sam raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, but... don't worry," Tre said and looked the other way. Sam took his head in her hands and gave him a much better kiss than she had just given to Billie Joe. "Ooohhh, what did I do?"
"Nothing," she said and started to watch the drama movie on T.V., acting like nothing had happened. Tre raised his eyebrows, then decided to watch the movie while Billie Joe was quiet. When the movie was half way through, Billie Joe sat down and watched it with them. He remained quiet until the end of the movie.
