Billie Joe and Sam were arguing. Again.
"You are so cheating on Tre!" Billie Joe yelled for the millionth time.
"I am not! Why would I do that?" Sam screamed back, also for the millionth time.
"He's not good enough, is he?"
"He's more than good enough! He's perfect!"
"If he's perfect, why are you cheating?" Billie Joe shouted as he saw Tre come into the hotel. He didn't know they were arguing yet, and Sam couldn't see him because she had her back turned to the door. Tre's jaw dropped as he heard Billie Joe.
"I am not cheating on Tre!" Sam cried, hoping Billie Joe would get the message this time.
"You are so! That party the other night, who were you chatting up? You two even exchanged numbers!" Sam grabbed her phone and went through her contacts.
"Who is it, then? Tell me and I'll delete their number!"
"It's not good! Tre will find out anyway!" Billie Joe said with a smile.
"You wouldn't lie to him, would you?" Sam asked, surprised. They never lied to each other.
"I wouldn't be lying," Billie Joe said. "And besides, he's right behind you." Sam whirled around and saw Tre standing behind her. A pleased grin spread across Billie Joe's face.
"Tre... It's not what you think... Just let me explain... " Sam tried to get her words out.
"No. I heard enough," Tre said and walked into their bedroom. Sam glared at Billie Joe.
"You are so in for it!" Sam said and Billie Joe gulped. Sam tackled him, being nice and letting him land on the sofa. Billie Joe grinned as she pretended to punch him, and soon he ended up laughing. Tre came back into the room, suddenly feeling ready to try and talk it over with Sam. He saw her on top of Billie Joe on the couch.
"God! How many people are you cheating on me with?" Tre yelled.
"Tre, we were play fighting, no big deal," Sam said and got off Billie Joe who sat up.
"Didn't bloody look like it!" Tre said as Mike walked in.
"Sorry I'm a bit late, Anastasia can't keep her hands off me. So, what'd I miss?" Mike asked. He then noticed the look on their faces. "Wrong time? Okay, I'll just stay out of it... " Mike went into his and Billie Joe's bedroom to drop off his jacket.
"You know what? I'm sick of this! Sam, it's over!" Tre shouted and Sam's jaw dropped.
"What?" she screamed, but Tre had already stormed out of the room. It took Sam only a few days to recover from the break up. During that time she wrote 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreams'. Soon they had the perfect tune to it, and Sam played the acoustic guitar in it. There was another party and Sam decided to totally forget about Tre.
"Hey Sam!" Sam was a long-time buddy with Hilary Duff.
"Hey! What's up girl?" Sam hugged Hilary.
"Guess what?" Hilary asked.
"What?"
"I'm going out with Joel Madden!"
"What? No way!" Sam said.
"Yes way!" Hilary said, so excited she had scored her long time crush.
"Okay then, prove it. Where is he?" Sam asked her.
"With the rest of Good Charlotte. By the drinks. Come on!" Hilary led the way over to the drinks to her new boyfriend. She slipped her right hand into Joel's left as she stood next to him. "Hey."
"Hey Hilary. Hey Sam." Joel acted like he knew Sam very well.
"Hi. Guess you're not joking," Sam admitted as Joel smiled down at Hilary and she smiled back up.
"Why would I joke over something like that?" she questioned as Benji came over behind them. Benji saw Hilary, but saw Sam too. He put his hand on her right shoulder and came around to her left.
"Hi, I'm Benji. Would you like to dance?" he asked and Joel just about burst out laughing.
"Uh, sure," Sam said and looked at Hilary. "I'll be back." She was lead away from the group to dance the night away with Benji Madden. Half an hour before the party would be ended, Billie Joe came over to Sam and Benji.
"Hey, Sam, we're going now so we don't get caught up in traffic. You've got five minutes and then we're gone, okay?" he said and she nodded. He went away and once the song was finished, Sam led Benji over to the parking lot that was full of limos. She could see Billie Joe waiting by a limo, waiting for Mike and Tre too.
"Hey, I had a great time tonight," Benji said, taking her hands.
"Me too," Sam said as Tre and Mike walked into the parking lot from another door. Mike went straight over to Billie Joe, but Tre stopped and stared at Sam. He still loved her with all of his heart, regretting that he had snapped at her.
"Can I get your number?" Benji asked and they exchanged cell phone numbers. "Well, I'll see ya later, I guess." Benji looked down, feeling himself going red. No way could he kiss her already!
"Okay. See ya," Sam said and kissed him on the lips. She slowly pulled away with a small smile on her face. "Bye." She turned and headed towards the limo while Benji turned bright red and went back into the party to find Joel and tell him, even though he was pretty sure he knew (twins you know). Tre quickly hurried over to the limo too. It wouldn't be the first time Billie Joe had left him behind!
"So Sam... how's Benji?" Billie Joe asked with a sly grin on his face.
"None of your business," Sam replied, but smiled too, thinking of what she had just done.
"Oooohhhh! She's blushing! What happened?" Billie Joe started yelling. He'd obviously had a few drinks.
