Stoned faith (sequel to - secrets are better off secret), chapter 6

I sat alone in the hall way.
Watching the clock tick by.
Each second took an hour. Sweat slowly dripped down my fore head.
I sat, with out being able to sit still. I twiddled my thumbs and breathed deeply. Keeping my figures crossed.
My heart hadn't slowed down.
It was beating faster then a racing car.

Tom passed up and down the hall. His hands holding each other behind his back. He was talking to himself under his breath.
"Please be okay, please, please, please be okay."
Billie held Adie as she cried onto his shoulder, every know and then giving a look to Mike who sat across the hall.

It felt hot in there, or maybe it was just me.

We waited for the longest 6 hours of our lives.

Then when the doctor came out the door, holding his not pad tight.
We all pounced on him, like a dog does a bone.
"Is my baby okay!" cried Adie.
"What's happening to my boy!" demanded Billie.
"Is he gonna be alright!" I panicked.
"he will be okay wont he!" Tom questioned.

"Okay, all of you calm down. Just calm down."
"Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong, may I talk to you in private," he said, showing them threw the door.
Talking to them in private, we all knew that was bad news.

Tom, Mike and I all pressed our ears up against the door to hear what was happening.

I heard a lot of muttering.
Then after my ears adjusted the mutters became words.
"We have put Joseph into a medically enhanced coma," the doctor explained.
I could hair Adie sobbing.
"Will he be okay!" Billie demanded. "Will he wake up!" he finished.
"It's too early to tell," the doctor said with a sigh.
"Epilepsy is a serous thing," he explained.

At that point we pulled our ears away in complete utter shock.
"He, he has Epilepsy!?" Tom panicked. "did that have anything to do with the...um...you know?" Tome asked Mike.
"It can be a side effect," Mike replied.
