Vacation, chapter 3
* Lauren's POV *
"Oh... oh... oh... oh my... my... my...my god!" Mackie stuttered. "You're... you're..." Mackie started to say but then he cut her off.
"Yes... I'm Tré Cool!" Tré said and smiled proudly. At this point Mackie was about to faint. Actually, we ALL were about to faint! "So I take it as you're fans?"
"Y-y-yeah," I replied trying to stay calm and not look like an idiot.
"I LOVE YOU!" Mackie screamed to Tré.
"Aw! Thank you!" Tré laughed and replied. Mackie was shaking.
We talked to Tré for about 10 minutes and then Mike came over and joined.
When Mike came over, Maddie didn't say anything at all... she just stared at Mike in amazement.
"Uh... hi?" Mike said to Maddie a little weirded out but understood why. I laughed at both Mackie and Maddie. The both could've fainted right then and there.
A while after Mike came out, Billie Joe came out and joined us.
* 4 hours later *
"Well... we got to go... talk to you guys tomorrow? Or maybe later today?" I asked Billie Joe since he was the only one that was actually paying attention to me.
"Yeah! Of course!" Tré was still talking to Mackie and started to flirt in the past hour or 2.
"Okay awesome! Come on guys!" I replied and tried to get everyone out of their conversation so we could go.
"Aw! Do you HAVE to go?" Tré whined since he still wanted to flirt with Mackie.
"Yes Tré, we do. We can all get together later tonight or tomorrow. Okay?" I explained to Tré.
"Yeah I guess so... " He said still sad he couldn't keep flirting. I got out of the lake after saying goodbyes to the guys and Tré was checking Mackie out and Mike was checking Maddie out and Billie Joe was slightly checking me out. I was the first one inside and called the shower first.
"NO! Not cool! What are Mackie and I supposed to do?" Lauren complained obviously not wanting to wait for her shower.
"I don't know! Sit out side or go watch TV or something!" I yelled back to her from the bathroom.
"UGH!" Mackie sighed as she entered the house. "I CALL FIRST SHOWER TOMORROW!"
"WHAT? You can't call that!" Lauren protested.
"Can too! 'Cause I just did!" Mackie replied smiling proudly.
"Not fair!" Lauren stormed out of the house onto the back deck that looked out over the lake.
"Stop fighting! It's a shower for God's sake!" I yelled from the shower hearing them fight.
I finished with my shower seeing Lauren try to beat Mackie into the bathroom but lose. Lauren sighed once again. "I'm not always going to be last... right?"
"No... you can be 2nd," I joked with her. She looked at me with a shocked face.
"ANYWAY! Do you guys want to out to dinner tonight?" I asked Lauren and planned to ask Mackie when she was finished.
"Yeah! Sure! Where to?" Lauren forgot about her problems and started asking questions about dinner. Mackie soon after came out of the bathroom.
"FO SHIZZLE! We're going out to dinner?" Mackie asked obviously excited.
"Yes. We just need to choose where to go," I laughed at Mackie's reaction.
"BOO YA!" Mackie ran into her room and got dressed. I sat down on the couch and waited for everyone to be ready to go out to dinner. Mackie and Maddie finally came out of their rooms.
"Great. Where do you guys want to go?" I asked them not really caring where I went to eat.
"How about... Applebee's!" Maddie jumped up and down hoping we could go there.
"Sure..." Mackie replied looking oddly at Maddie jumping in joy.
"YAY!" Maddie ran around the room screaming.
"You want to ask the guys if they can go?" I asked knowing what their answer most likely is.
"REALLY? We can?" Mackie and Maddie asked me back not knowing if I was joking or being serious...but they had huge smiles on their faces hoping that we could ask.
"Yeah...why not?" I asked them not knowing if they would say yes to go with us or no they won't go with us.
"AWESOME!" Maddie and Mackie started to freak out on me now. I laughed and we went next door to their house.
"Ding! Dong!" Maddie imitated the doorbell which we could hear ring inside.
Mike ran to the door to answer it. "Oh hey!" Mike greeted us and was staring at Maddie when he greeted us.
"H-hi!" Maddie stuttered since she loved him but didn't know that he had been checking her out before.
"You guys want to come in?" Mike asked trying at Mackie and me too instead of staring at Maddie.
"Well we wanted to know if you guys wanted to go out to dinner with us...?" Mackie asked a little iffy.
"Ugh sure! I'll go ask Billie and Tré." And with that he went off to ask them. A few minutes later Mike, Billie Joe, and Tré came running out of the house almost knocking us over.
"I guess that means yes?" I laughed gaining more and more confidence when I was around them.
"Hell yeah!" Tré answered quicker than the speed of light. We all laughed as I drove to the nearest Applebee's. We sat down at a table the waiter gave us. Soon, we all had ordered, tried to eat without choking since Tré was making us laugh too much, and then left. Mike, Billie, Tré, Mackie, Maddie and I got to know each other better. Mike had confessed his feelings for Maddie, Tré had confessed his feelings for Mackie (partly back at the lake while he was flirting), and Billie Joe confessed them for me.
"A-a-are you sure?" I asked Billie if he really liked me in that way.
"Y-yeah... " Billie answered not quite sure of how he was going to tell Adie, who is waiting for his return back in Oakland. I drove back to our houses and Mike and Maddie kissed each other softly goodbye as I dropped them off at their house. Tré insisted that we either came over to their house (which Mike and Billie refused since they claim it's messy) or for them to come to ours. During the 2 seconds I had started to think I heard Mackie and Maddie reply with a quick and simple 'yes'. Then, everyone turned to me.
"I CAN'T TAKE ALL THE PRESSURE WHEN YOU GUYS STARE AT ME!" I screamed. "Sorry, but when people stare at me I can never decide anything... but sure you guys can come over." I pulled into our driveway and turned off the car as everyone got out. Mike and Maddie ran inside hand in hand as did Tré and Mackie. Billie had waited for me outside of the car. We went inside, hung out with everyone else and got totally wasted...
