And I So Hate Secrets, chapter 1

Have you ever had a secret that you wanted to scream out to the world, from up top on your rooftop? Well, I have. This secret is so massive, so controversial that telling you might put you in danger. This secret I have isn't like you telling your closest friend that you're cheating on your boyfriend. No way, this secret contains rage, threats, dark alleyways, skipping school, love, obsession, loud music, and... murder.

This secret all started back in 2004, around September, a week before Green Day's "American Idiot" came out. As everyone said that A.I. was a massive record, and changed Green Day. Oh they were totally right. I could have been found working that day that all hell broke loose. I was walking to my office, which was located in MTV studios. Yes, I know I work at the most sold-out, overrated music station. I don't care what you or other people say, I love working here, so back off! Okay I better calm down; I'm getting off topic. I remember, what I was wearing too. Because that t-shirt will be covered in stuff I don't want to think of right now, later in the future. I was wearing my blue and green plaid converses, blue jeans, and my favorite Green Day t-shirt, I've had forever. Anyways, I walk into my office, and that script for the day was lying on my desk. I sighed and wondered what over populated egocentric celebrity will stop by today. I've worked at this place for years and I still hate celebrities. I picked up the script and read through the introductions, Mariah Carey...new video from 50 cent...Simple Plan... O.A.R...end the show with audience giveaways.

I sat down in my chair and took a sip of my Mountain Dew. 'Joy!' I sighed in complete sarcasm. Out of all celebrities I hated Mariah Carey the most. I set the script back on my desk and eased back into my chair as I propped up my feet on my desk. I know, total lady like. I laid my head back and closed my eyes. I was still trying to get over my hang over from last night, but I was losing the battle. I was about to fall asleep, when my phone started buzzing. I grabbed it and flipped it open. I tried to focus and try to read it but it as useless. So I just turned my phone off and decided I would read it later.

"Alexis!...Alexis! 10 minutes, you need to go to make-up and meet the artists! I swear one more close call like this I'm throwing your ass out on the street!" My manager screamed at me as I tried to wake up. Don't worry about the threats he's been threatening me since I started working there. I just yawned grabbed my Mountain Dew, and slid my phone in my back pocket. I walked out and walked down the long hallway towards the make-up room where music was blaring at a ungodly level. I walked over to radio and turned it down.

"Oh no looks like someone had a fun night last night!" My best friend Heather, who also happens to be my hair stylist. squealed as I flipped her off and sat in the chair. She just laughed and went on with trying to tame my hair.

"I don't care what they say! I will not go on with out green seedless grapes in my room!" I gritted my teeth as I heard her squeal. Heather saw my reaction and sighed.

"Alexis," She said warningly. I just smiled innocently and turned my phone back on.

"I don't care what you say I will not go on unless I have bananas!" I laughed as I heard that person yell as I walked away from Heather and Griffan, my make-up artist, and walked towards the room where all the laughing was coming from.
