No name(any suggestions?), chapter 2
Joey Armstrong P.O.V
I woke up to the sound of voices, coming from downstairs. My digital clock flashed 10:30 am. Early, but I was awake now.
I stumbled out of the bed and went to take a shower. Then I quickly dried off and got changed into a band t-shirt, combats and of course, 'Converse'.
"Hey Mom, what's for breakfast?" I walked in to the kitchen, shaking my head, sending droplets of water everywhere.
Mom wasn't in the kitchen. But someone was. A girl I had never seen before was.
"Your Mom's in there," she gestured to the breakfast room. "Joey, right?"
"Yeah... who are you?" I looked at her, noticing her eyes were an extreme blue and that she was... well... hot!
"Cassie," she smiled, something I could tell didn't happen much. "I won't invade your house much longer, if I can help it. Its lovely though. So big!"
Our house wasn't big. Dad made a lot of money, due to being in a successful band, along with a few others, but he never wanted a big house. We just had a medium one. Maybe it was big compared to hers.
"Thanks," I grinned and opened the fridge door. "Hey, what date is it?" I was looking at the milk's expiry date.
"Twenty first of July, 2008," she replied.
It was two days out of date. "Fuck it," I said and finished it off, drinking from the carton.
"Um, you don't happen to know a James Halfpenny?" she asked, looking hopeful.
"Of course I do. He lives beside us," I grinned at her.
She blinked. "Are you serious?" she stared at me, as if trying to search for truth on my face.
"Yeah. He's pretty good friends with Dad and Mom. Only moved here two years ago. Doesn't seem to have any kids though," I told her.
"He wouldn't seem to, would he!" she exclaimed angrily.
"Um... " I wasn't really sure how to respond so I carried on getting breakfast.
"Never mind. Is he coming over today?" she looked at me sharply.
"Yeah, he'll be here to play poker. Why?" I was getting curious now.
"Libby and me won't be staying much longer then. No offence! It's just your dad won't let us out until we tell him where we live and I am not going back there." A mix of emotions, anger, pain and sadness showed on her face.
"Um, so what age are you?" I quickly changed the subject.
"Fourteen, same as you," she replied and we got to know each other. I really did like her!

The doorbell rang and I opened the door.
"Hey Dude!" Tre and Mike both grinned at me. "You playing today?"
"No. Come on in to the kitchen. Mom and Dad will be in soon," I grinned back.
They followed me in to the room and there stood Cassie.
"Um, Cassie this is Tre and Mike. Guys this is Cassie," I introduced them.
Cassie and Mike immediately began a conversation about types of basses while Tre whispered to me, "She's hot stuff!"
"She's fourteen!!" I told him.
"Perfect for you then?" he grinned.
I didn't get the chance to answer because the doorbell rang. I opened it and James followed me into the kitchen.
