Later on back at Mike's place
Ally woke up from a cool breeze coming threw the door that lead out to Mike's balcony, she turned over, the door was open and she could see Mike's head as he lay on the sun lounge, she got up and pulled the sheets around her and walked outside to Mike.
"Hey what are you doing out here?" asked Ally as she slid herself in between Mike's legs and put her head on his chest.
"Sorry did I wake you, I'm just thinking that's all," said Mike wrapping his arms around her waist.
"About Ryan?" asked Ally as she made her self comfortable and looked up into the clear night sky the stars were shinning brightly.
"Yeah about everything really," said Mike as he kissed the back of Ally's head.
"Which star do you think he is Mike?" asked Ally as her eyes roamed the sky.
"That one over there the brightest one in the sky" said Mike feeling Ally take in a deep breath and snuggle down further into the lounge.
"Yeah I think so to," said Ally as she stroked Mike's hands they felt warm and safe.
"Ally I wish I could change the past I wish I could have made Ryan live and then we would have been happy," said Mike laying head back.
"But if things hadn't of worked out that way maybe you wouldn't have Green Day and you wouldn't have Estella and I wouldn't have Eva and who knows maybe we wouldn't be here like we are now Mike, everything in life happens for a reason weather we like what happens or not" said Ally feeling Mike wiggle around behind her.
"Yeah I suppose your right," said Mike moving his head down to rest on Ally's shoulder.
"What do you think Ryan would say if he could see us now?" asked Ally as she rested her head on Mike's.
"He'd probably say why is mum only wearing a sheet around her and why aren't you to married already," said Mike.
Ally giggled as she got up of the couch and went to walk back inside.
Mike looked at her standing at the door way the moon light seemed to make her skin glow, Mike got off the couch and he and Ally got back into bed, Ally laid in the bed her back facing Mike his hands were wrapped around her waist Mike must have thought Ally was asleep, Ally laid there just happy to be in Mike's arms happy to be with the man she loved Ally was about to turn around and face Mike when she heard him whisper something.
"Marry me," Mike said he was kissing Ally on the side of her face.
Ally didn't move she felt paralyzed, was Mike serious did he think she was sleeping what would she do? Should she answer him or not.
"Ally you awake?" Mike asked as he kissed her again.
Ally didn't know what to do so she pretended to be asleep.
*The next day*
Ally woke up from the sound of the TV in the bedroom, Mike was sitting up in bed and watching it, and Ally turned over and pulled her self up.
"Morning sexy," said Mike as he gave Ally a kiss on the cheek.
"Morning, what are you doing watching TV already Mike?" said Ally as she wiped her eyes and ran her fingers threw her wavy hair.
"I wanted to see what they were saying about last night," said Mike pulling Ally
closer to him.
"I thought you didn't care about that sort of stuff," said Ally as she pulled the blankets up around her naked body.
Ally laid there in Mike's arms listening to the TV.
"Well lets get down to best and worst dressed shall we," said the presenter on the TV. "Of stars were dressed in Ally Evans dress wear the lovely designer is said to also be dating Mike Dirnt from Green Day they were said to be seen kissing and cuddling at the after party, we look forward to many more designs from Mrs. Evans who's designs are a breath of fresh air, no doubt she will be getting swamped with calls from people wanting to wear her designs," the TV host finished.
Mike turned off the TV and faced Ally.
"Well that's good news," said Mike as he threw the remote down on the bedside table.
"Yeah," said Ally rolling her eyes and going to get out of the bed.
Mike pulled her back down and into his arms.
"What's wrong this is great news?" said Mike with a puzzled look on his face.
"No it's not Micheal, it means more work less time with Eva less time with you in between my house and your house all the time it's not good news Micheal," said Ally in a rather pissed off tone.
"Well I'm sure we can fix that," said Mike as he turned over and rummaged through his bedside table, "ah ha here it is," said Mike pulling out a small box.
"Micheal what is that?" asked Ally noticing the box was rather small, the thought popped into her head. Could this be a ring, oh my god he is going to ask me to marry him.
"Ally marry me," said Mike opening the case to show Ally a spectacular diamond ring.
"Mike I want to please believe me but, Mike I just can't not now," said Ally as she got up off the bed, she ran over to wear her cloths were and put them on.
"Ally were are you going?" asked Mike surprised at what Ally had said.
"I can't stay here Mike I have to go," said Ally as she ran to the bedroom door.
"Ally stop, maybe I was rushing it but don't run out on me like this Al, don't leave me again," said Mike getting up of the bed and walking towards a shaken up Ally.
"Mike I love you I really do, but I need space Mike I can't do this right now," said Ally as she ran out the door and down Mike's stairs.
Mike stayed there he knew it was pointless to go after her, he sighed as he heard the front door slam shut and Ally's car begin to take off out the drive.
Ally's p.o.v
I love Mike I really do but I don't know if I am ready for this at the moment I have just been so shaken up lately from leaving New York and leaving Derek I don't know what to do, should I stay or should I go, I love Mike but if Derek shows up I have to leave I can't stay.
Mike's p.o.v
Why didn't you go after her you fool?, you let her go once before don't let it happen again, but I know she isn't telling me something she is holding back from me I can feel it.
Mike got dressed and went to Billie's house to try to clear his head and get another point of view; I mean Billie had been there threw it all, he would help Mike make sense of all of this.
*At Billie's place*
"Hey Mike what are you doing here I thought you'd still be with Ally?" said Billie looking at his best friend who looked terrible.
"I was until she left Billie," said Mike pressing his hand up against the door and hanging his head down.
"Well come in and tell me what happened," said Billie putting his arm around Mike's shoulders as he walked into the house.
Mike sat down on the couch and Billie sat across from him they were about to start talking when Adie came in.
"Hey Mike where is Ally?" asked Adie surprised not to see Ally so she sat down next to Billie.
"I don't know," said Mike slumping him self down into the couch.
"What happened?" asked Billie feeling so bad seeing Mike so upset.
"We were having a great night everything was fine you know, the sex was great the night was just awesome," said Mike as he ran his hands threw his hair. "And in the morning I knew I had to ask her I just had to it felt so right nothing in my life had ever felt so right," said Mike as he took a deep breath in and laid his head on the back of the couch.
"What did you ask her?" Billie said surprised by what Mike had said.
"I asked her to marry me and she ran out, she just left," said Mike as tear fell down his cheek. "Why did she leave, tell me Billie I just don't get it if she said she loves me and I love her, and I know she is hiding something from me I can see it in her eye's Billie?" said Mike running both his hands threw his hair in a frustrated manner.
Adie looked over at Mike she knew she should tell him but she couldn't so she got up off the couch and walked back into the kitchen, Mike knew that look on Adie's face though he knew that she knew something.
"Adie what do you know?" asked Mike following her into the kitchen.
"Nothing Mike I don't know a thing," said Adie trying not to look at Mike in the eye, she hated lying to him but she didn't want to betray Ally's trust.
"Adie I know that look on your face you know what she is hiding don't you?" asked Mike the look in his eyes was filled with desperation and heartache.
Adie turned around and looked at Mike, she felt so bad seeing Mike in pain, she had never seen him so upset about any girl, she had to tell him but she didn't want to.
"Adie please you have to tell me I have to know," said Mike as the took Adie's hand in his and squeezed it gently.
"Ok I'll tell you Mike but I shouldn't Ally is my friend and I am very fond of her," said Adie looking at Mike's face and noticing that he had a very weak yet smile on his face.
"Adie I know she is your friend, but she's the love of my life and I won't lose her again," said Mike sitting down at the table.
"Ok well you know how she said she was divorced," said Adie watching Mike nod his head, "well she isn't, she is still married to her husband Derek," said Adie watching the look on Mike's face it was one of hurt and pain. "But she left because he began to hit her and she left him in the middle of the night and moved out here so he couldn't find her again," Adie finished all of a sudden the hurt on Mike's face turned to one of anger.
"What, he hit her, he hit Ally, I'll kill him?" said Mike as the slammed his fist down on the table.
"Mike stop it, being like this won't help Ally, she is afraid he will find her and she'll have to leave you again Mike," Adie said as she grabbed on to Mike's hand which was a little red from hitting the table.
"She knows I love her she knows I would protect her why didn't she tell me Adie, doesn't she love me?" Mike asked as the cupped his face in his hands.
"She does love you Mike, but she feels like she hurt you so much the last time she had to leave and she doesn't want to put you through that again," Adie said .
"Mike you know you and Ally were meant to be, ever since we first met her you and Ally had this connection Tre and I tried to be like you were with her but she only ever had eye's for you Mike, maybe she just feels rushed," said Billie as the put his hand on Mike's back to offer some sort of comfort.
"I know maybe I did rush her, but it felt so right, we were talking about Ryan and everything was perfect I felt so happy I have never felt as happy as I am now that she is in my life," said Mike as he placed his hand on Billie's to show that he knew his friend was helping.
"Well go tell her how you feel Mike let her know that you will be there for her forever and that you don't care if it takes forever to get married just tell her you love her," said Adie as she got of the chair and walked over to Billie and he put his arm around her.
"Yeah ok I will," said Mike as he got off his seat and headed for the door.
