Something Unpredictable, But In The End Was Right., chapter 18
Mike had gone to New York with Billie and Tre for an interview, he stayed there for a few days to do some promotional stuff, Estella was staying with her mother for a week or so, when Mike got back to Oakland he jumped in his car and made his way to Ally's place.
Mike pulled up in the driveway and noticed a for sale sign in the front yard, Mike got out of the car and walked up to the front door, he knocked on it but no answer, he got his key out to open the door but the locks had been changed, Mike got out his phone to call Ally but her phone was switched off, so Mike got back into his care and called Mel.
"Hello Mel, It's Mike," he said as he took a swig from the coffee he had in the car.
"Oh hi Mike," said Mel sounding a little strange.
"Can you tell me were Ally is, and why there is a for sale sign out the front of her and house and the door locks have been changed?" Mike asked he was starting to worry now.
"Ah Mike I can't tell you," said Mel sound upset.
"Mel you have to tell me what is going on, I need to know were she is," said Mike as he put his free hand onto the steering wheel.
"Ok but she is going to kill me, Derek came back, and she took off while you were gone," said Mel, Mike could hear the sobs in between words.
"What, where did she go Mel?" Mike asked as he put his head back against the head rest and closed his eyes.
"She went to New York, she is at the airport now I dropped her off there maybe an hour ago," said Mel she felt so bad to have to be the one to tell Mike this.
"Ok, I am on my way there now," said Mike as he hung up the phone, pulled out of the driveway, and headed for the airport.
Mike parked the car and made his way up to a help desk.
"How can I help you sir?" asked the woman behind the counter.
"Ah I need to know what plain Ally Evans is on please," Mike asked he was panting because he had ran the whole way from his car.
"I'm sorry sir we can't give out that sort of information," said the woman giving Mike a warm yet fake smile.
"Look please you have to tell me it is really urgent I have to see her," said Mike pleading with the woman.
The woman looked up and Mike and then started to type something into her computer, she passed Mike a piece of paper.
"I'm sorry sir but I just can't give you out that sort of information," said the woman as she gave Mike a wink.
Mike looked down at the paper and it said which flight Ally was on.
"Well I guess I'll just have to find her me self," he said as he walked off to catch Ally's plain before it took off.
Mike found the gateway to the plane and went to go threw it to find Amy.
"Sorry sir I can I see your ticket please?" asked the woman.
"I don't have one," said Mike trying to get passed her.
"I can't let you on unless you have a ticket," she said trying to block Mike.
"My girlfriend is on that plain and it is urgent I need to see her now," said Mike trying to get passed her.
"Sorry sir I can't let you on," she said.
Mike couldn't just stand there and watch the love of his life take off and leave him, he pushed passed the lady and made his way onto the plain, he looked up the walkways to try and see a glance of Eva or Ally, finally he sore her and made he way up to were they where both sitting.
Ally looked up to see Mike; she was surprised to see him there.
"Ally don't go," Mike said begging her.
"Mike I can't stay I'm sorry," said Ally tears falling from her eyes as she looked at the people on the plain staring at Mike and her.
A security guard came up behind Mike and grabbed his arm.
"Sir you have to leave this plain," said the guard.
Mike pulled away from his grasp and turned back to Ally.
"Don't go Ally, you can't leave me, not like this Al not taking off like this," Mike said as a tear fell down his cheek.
"Mike please don't make this hard for me, I have to go you just don't understand I can't stay," said Ally as she looked over to Eva who was now crying, she put her arms around her for some sort of comfort.
"Sir you have to leave now, or I'll make you," said the guard as he took Mike by the arm.
"You don't get it Al, I need you to live, I need you to breath, Al don't go," said Mike trying so desperately to make her see that he needed her.
Ally sat there, tears falling down her cheek, as she watched Mike be taken off the plain.
The guard escorted Mike to his car and watched him get in, then he walked back into the airport, Mike rested his head on the steering wheel of his car and began to cry.

Why is she leaving me? All because of this Derek guy?
Doesn't she think I can protect her? Why should she anyway I let her down once before maybe she thinks that I'll let her down again.
Mike drove home, sat down on the couch and had a few beers, he went up stairs to try and sleep but he knew without Ally by his side that he couldn't, he's lost the love of his life once again.
The next day
"What she left?" asked Tre as he Billie and Mike sat in Mike's lounge room.
"Yep she left me," said Mike taking another sip of his beer.
"Why?" asked Billie as he slid further down into the couch.
"Derek showed up and she took off," said Mike as he put his beer down on the table and ran his hands threw his hair.
"I don't get it, why did she have to leave but," Tre said looking at Mike; he hated to see him in so much pain.
"Cause she thinks I can't protect her, like I couldn't protect her from her father," said Mike taking a deep breath in and letting the awful memories of that night flood back into his head.
"Mike you know it wasn't your fault that all that happened," said Billie as he put his beer back down on the table and lit up a smoke.
"It was Billie I should have been there for her but I wasn't," said Mike as he got up off the couch and walked into the kitchen.
"Hey Billie I hate to see him like this," said Tre as he finished off his beer and put it back onto the table.
"I know he gets real down on him self cause of what happened with Ryan," said Billie as he took a drag from his smoke and looked over his shoulder to see Mike in the kitchen with his palms resting on the bench and his head hung low.
"We need to do something," said Tre looking over at Mike.
"What can we do? We can't give him Ally," said Billie feeling terrible that he couldn't help his best friend out.
"I know but we need to do something," said Tre as he looked back over to Mike.
