A week later
Mike and Ally had come back home, Mike was down in the basement playing his Bass and Ally was just about to call work to find out what had been going on, she hadn't called them since she left on her honeymoon.

"Jane is that you?" Ally asked surprised not to hear Mel.
"Yeah," Jane said.

"Oh Ally I tried to call you but your phone was off, I have some bad news," said Jane sounding concerned.
Ally ran her hands through her hair and looked up at Mike who had just come into the kitchen "My phone was off, what is it?" said Ally.
There was a slight pause before Jane spoke "It Mel she left," said Jane.
Ally's eyes widened, Mike looked at her face and sat down in the chair next to her "What left," she said.

Ally hung her head and sighed "But I sent her emails two days ago of the wedding pictures and she didn't reply telling me she wanted to leave," said Ally very confused.
"I don't know what happened but she is gone," said Jane.
Ally shook her head and ran her hand over her face "Ok I'll come in tomorrow to sort it all out, thanks Jane," said Ally as she hung the phone up.
Mike got up and went to the fridge "Who left?" Mike asked pulling a beer from the fridge.
Ally got up, took the beer off him, and started to drink it "Mel," she said as she placed the beer on the counter.
Mike shook his head and got another beer out "Mel? Why would she leave?" he said taking the cap off his beer.
Ally looked around the room for a second and paused as the reason entered her head "Johnny," she said.
Mike gave her a confused look "Johnny what would he have to do with it?" he asked taking another sip from his beer.
Ally shook her head and ran to the phone "Because I bet you he slept with her and then took off, typical I told him not to," he said angrily.
Mike shook his head, not knowing what was going on "Who you calling?" he asked as he placed his beer back on the counter.
Ally didn't say anything as she dialed the number and put the phone to her ear "Johnny its Ally, did you sleep with Mel?" she asked in a pissed off tone. "Dam it in told you not to," she said into the phone "And you just left?" she shook her head and slammed her hand down on the table "Great Johnny just great, now she is gone, thanks," she said and then hung up the phone.
Ally put the phone down on the table "Fucking Johnny, I love him, he is my brother, but dam it he fucks things up," said Ally picking up her beer.
Mike still look confused at what was going on, until it clicked in his brain "Oh Johnny, no he didn't," said Mike.
Ally nodded her head "Yep and now she is gone, and she isn't like other girls, she isn't into one night stands, and now she has taken off, she is probably mad as all hell," said Ally as she finished her beer and put it in the bin.
Mike took the last sip of his beer and placed it on the counter "Well, we can't do anything," said Mike.
Ally nodded and sighed, Mike walked over and kissed her on the cheek "It'll be ok," he said as he turned away and went back into the basement.
A week later
Ally had gone into work and sorted out everything that had happened, they had hired a new assistant, and Ally had not heard anything from Mel at all.

Ally stopped reading and closed the magazine, there were tears running from her eyes.
