Something Unpredictable, But In The End Was Right., chapter 9
Ally and Mike tried to keep in touch but their lives became so hectic that they lost touch with each other. Ally had gotten married and had a little girl called Eva, and she was a very successful clothing designer, she made clothes for all the stars. She was now divorced from her husband, and she decided to move back to California for a quieter style of life. Mike had gotten married and divorced, and had his daughter Estella. Green Day had gotten big and Ally had gone to every concert that she could. Ally had bought a house in Oakland and Eva had her first day of school, when she came home she was telling Ally all about it.
"Mummy I met a real nice girl, she is my friend," said Eva.
"That's great baby. I'm happy you're happy down here," said Ally.
"Yep I am, can she come over tomorrow?" asked Eva.
"Yeah that is fine," said Ally.
"Her mum will pick her up," said Eva.
"Okay, now go get ready for dinner," said Ally.
Eva ran up stairs to get ready.
Ally's p.o.v
I am glad she is happy here. I know I was before I left, maybe I should go and put some flowers by Ryan. God, I have not been back there since before I left.
Ally and Eva went out for dinner and when they came home Ally up Eva to bed and got into bed and finished off some sketches for clients.
The next morning.
"Mummy will you make me a new dress?" asked Eva, eating her toast.
"If I have the time honey, I have a lot to do," said Ally.
"Ok mummy," said Eva.
"Look at the time you have to go to school. Come on in the car and then I have to go to work," said Ally.
Ally dropped Eva off at school and went into her office where her assistant was waiting for her.
"Hey Ally, nice morning," said Mel.
"Yeah it is, do I have any messages?" said Ally getting a cup of coffee.
"Ah only one," said Mel.
"Well who from?" asked Ally.
"Markus," said Mel.
"What, again? Why won't he stop?" said Ally.
"'Cause you left him and moved here," said Mel.
"All my life men have fucked it up, you think I'd get a break," said Ally.
Ally spent the whole day looking over sketches and meeting with clients until it was time for her to go home. When she got home Eva and her friend were in her room playing. Ally went up and said hi and kept on finishing work off.
"Mum can we go and play in the backyard?" asked Eva.
"Sure, don't get all dirty. Your friend's mum wouldn't like that," said Ally.
"Okay we won't," said Eva.
Ally went back to drawing when there was a knock at the door. Ally got up to get it, and she opened the door.
"Mike? Mike, is that you?" she screamed.
"Ally oh my god, what are you doing here? I can't believe it," said Mike, hugging her.
"I moved here, not long ago with my daughter. What are you doing here?" asked Ally.
"Coming to get my daughter," said Mike.
"Estella is your daughter, I thought I knew those eyes," Ally said.
Mike came in and Ally and Mike were in the kitchen when Eva and Estella came in.
"Daddy you're here," said Estella.
"Whoa, so that's your daughter?" said Mike.
"Yeah, this is Eva," said Ally.
"Hey Estella talks about you all the time," said Mike.
"How do you know my mum?" asked Eva.
"Me and Mike grew up together baby, we were friends until me and grandma moved," said Ally.
"Mum can Estella stay longer?" said Eva.
"Only if it is okay with Mike," said Ally.
"Yeah that is fine with me," said Mike.
Both the girls ran up to Eva's room and Ally and Mike sat down at the table.
"I went to every concert I could," said Ally.
"Why didn't you come up to us?" asked Mike.
"Because I couldn't get through the screaming girls," laughed Ally.
"Oh I missed you Ally, so much," said Mike.
"What about your wife Mike, are you happy?" said Ally, trying to change the subject.
"I'm not married anymore. What about you, where's your husband?" asked Mike.
"Same, not married now either," laughed Ally.
"You have to come and see the guys tomorrow, they will be so surprised to see you," said Mike.
"I'd love that so much," said Ally.
"Good, this is my address. Come around at like 12 for lunch," said Mike.
"Okay sounds great," said Ally.
"Well I better get Estella back to her mum. I'll see you tomorrow then," said Mike.
"Okay," said Ally.
Mike got Estella and they left. Ally put Eva to bed and sat down in the kitchen.

Whoa, I didn't expect to see Mike here. I mean, I didn't think they all would still live around here. He looks so good, seeing him brings back so many memories.
