The Teenie Takeover, chapter 2
It was a beautiful Saturday morning. Adie kissed me and I woke up. She smiled that beautiful heart-melting smile that no one else in this whole godamn world has.
"Hi, hunny," I said.
"Morning."
I kissed her.
"I'll be up in a minute," I said.
"Alright. We need to go get some school stuff for the kids in a bit."
I sighed. "Oh, that's right."
The image of girls swarming me at WalMart filled my head.
"Hun, I know it sucks. We have to deal with it. Wear a hat, and don't put on any eyeliner. Maybe they won't notice you."
"Ok..." I sat up and went in the bathroom.
"I'm gonna take a shower and than we'll leave," I hollared.
"Ok," she said back.

I looked in the mirror and put my hat on. It covered my eyes. I didn't look like my "photoshoot" or "concert" self. Good, I thought.
I walked downstairs and into the living room where Adie and the kids were watching cartoons on Nick.
"You guys ready to go?" I smiled at them.
They came up to me and gave me a hug. "Yep daddy."
Adie smiled at me again.
"You look beautiful," I said to her.
"Thank you Billie. You did a good job not looking like what you usually do, when your in front of the camera and everything."
"Oh God, thank you!"
We both laughed, and headed out the door with Joey and Jacob.

We were in the WalMart parking lot. I stared at the building as preppy chicks walked into it. I buried my face in my hands and rubbed my face.
Finally, I said, "Let's go."
Adie mouthed [l]You sure?[/l]
[l]Yes.[/l]
I locked the doors and we headed inside the double doors, myself waiting for my misery.
"Hi, hunny," I said.
"Morning."
I kissed her.
"I'll be up in a minute," I said.
