Coming Clean, chapter 4

I was so confused. Does he like Adrienne? Is he over her? I was sooo confused.
A couple of days later he called.
"Argh!" He said, "Adrienne thinks shes like my girlfriend or something and she wont leave me alone."
"You can come over here if you want." I said.
Now I was even more confused. Maybe Tre was right and he was trying to avoid Adrienne.
About 20 minutes later he was at my house.
"So you dont like Adrienne at all?" I asked.
"I like her as a friend but she thinks I like her as more than that and I dont know how to tell her, I dont want to hurt her feelings but Im in love with you."
Awww I thought he really does love me.
"I love you too." I said.
We both laughed.
"Just talk to her and tell her how you feel." I said.
"I guess but shes been really annoying lately, its like I dont feel like talking to her at all." He said.
"Maybe you dont wanna talk cause it may feel akward." I said.
"Shes coming over on thursday, Ill talk to her then." He answered
We were sitting on the couch when the phone rang.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi!" it was Amy.
"Hey can I call you back? Billie Joes here." I said.
"Billie Joe? Let me talk to him!" She said.
"Fine, hold on." I said, "Billie Joe can you talk to my friend, she really wants to talk to you?"
"Oh sure." He said.
Billie Joe was talking to Amy and I went in the kitchen to get some food. I got a leftover pizza and brought it back to the couch.
When I came back Billie Joe handed me the phone.
AMy screamed really loud.
"Woah! calm down!" I said.
"How can I calm down?" She said, "I just talked to Billie Joe Armstrong!"
