"Happy 12th anniversary baby," Billie Joe Armstrong said softly over the table which was lighted by a candle in one of the fanciest restaraunts in Oakland.
Adrienne Armstrong looked up from her food and smiled,

"You too babe," She replied and gave him a kiss.

"I still remember the first day we met, when I wasn't attacked by girls," Billie said thoughtfully.

"How could you forget?" Adie said her mind wandering along with her husband.

"Adrienne... ADRIENNE," A voice yelled, she was startled out of her sleep. She looked around and saw her best friend, Erica standing there.
"What's going on Erica?" Adrienne mumbled and looked at the clock, 1:00PM.
"We got to go to fucking class in a half hour, and there's this show tonight by this band, Green Day, want to go? I heard they are awesome," She asked in an excited voice.
Adrienne thought about it for a moment, "Sure Erica," And got up, took a shower and got dressed. 15 minutes later she and Erica were walking to class.
"Hey baby," A deep guys voice said from behind making them jump.
"God damn Derek, don't sneak up on us, and I told you not to call me baby," Adrienne snapped at her ex.
"But I love you!" He said quietly.
"If you loved me you wouldn't have had sex with that slut," Adrienne said now yelling.
"I told you it meant nothing," Derek yelled back.
"Whatever Derek, I need to go to class," she said pushing past him, Erica by her side.
"This won't be the last time you see me Adrienne," He yelled after her and went a different direction.
The two girls arrived in the classroom and Adrienne fell into the seat at her desk.
"I don't even want to be here," She mumbled still half asleep even after the encounter with Derek.
"You have to be, Adie, if you want to graduate," Erica reminded.
Erica was one who really cared about school and wanted to have a successful future of being a photo journalist. She always told Adrienne her dreams of traveling the world taking pictures of places no one ever will see in person.
Adrienne, on the other hand, at first, she cared a lot. But as the years went on she began to think, is this what she really wanted to do?

"Roll, Roll, Roll a joint twist it at the ends light it up and take a puff and pass it to friends," Tre Cool sang in the back of the book mobile driving to little Dinkytown Minnesota.
"Tre... will you shut the fuck up," Mike Dirnt yelled at the drummer annoyed, since he was trying to sleep in the front.
"You... You don't like my singing?" He asked.
Billie rolled his eyes, "I love your singing Tre, just not right now," He said and continued driving.
Silence took over the small van with the three guys of Green Day in it, it was an eerie silence, and it was hardly silent.
Tre felt like he should break it, "Roll, Roll, Roll a joint twist it at the ends light it up and take a puff and pass it to your friends," He sang.
Mike growled and threw a drumstick at the drummer.
"Guys, we're here," Billie Joe Armstrong said as he pulled into the small club in the city where his love life would change in the matter of hours.

"C'mon Adie, we need to go!" Erica demanded pulling on her friends arm.
"Ok Ok, hang on," Adrienne reprimanded, getting on her shoes and running out the door.
They arrived at the small club and got front row seats.
"Wow, this place is packed," Adie remarked looking around the small venue. She saw EP's and read the cover, 1039/ Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
"AND NOW... LET ME INTRODUCE TO YOU... THE BEST BAND FROM THE BAY AREA... GREEN DAY!" The announcer yelled and three guys ran on stage.
Adrienne took a look at the lead singer and her breath hitched, he was hot!
During the concert he looked down at her and grinned. She squealed.

Billie was looking down in the crowd and saw this girl with dark brown hair and deep brown eyes, she was looking at him, he smiled. God, she's beautiful he thought.
During that time he missed three different chords in At the Library. Mike nudged him giving him a look.
The song ended and they walked off stage.
"Dude, what was that?" Tre asked whacking him on the back of the head.
"Oh nothing, and Tre you didn't have to do that," Billie said thinking of the girl he will soon meet while putting Blue away carefully.
They carefully put their instruments on the back of the book mobile.
"Shit guys, be right back," Billie exclaimed running off after seeing the girl leaving the now empty club.

After the show ended the place slowly filtered out.
"They were amazing! I am so getting an EP," Erica exclaimed buying the CD.
"Let's get home," Adrienne said thinking of classes tomorrow, dragging Erica.
"HEY WAIT!" A guy's voice yelled after her, she turned around, it was the singer.
She stopped but Erica kept on walking.
"I noticed you in the crowd, I'm Billie Joe by the way," Billie said, smiling.
Adie melted in his green eyes, "Oh, I'm Adrienne Nesser," she introduced.
"ADRIENNE!" Erica yelled turning back and saw her talking to the lead singer.

"I'll give you a call sometime Adrienne," Billie smiled.
"You better Billie Joe," she replied smiling back now having his number on her arm.
And she walked off into the dark to another girl.
"BILLIE! THERE YOU ARE," Mike's voice rang out in the dark street.
Billie didn't hear he was still staring at Adrienne's retreating back. Mike ran up to the guitarist and poked him in the shoulder, Billie jumped.
"Whaa?" he said turning around.
"You were zoned out about something dude," Mike remarked.
"Oh...yeah, a girl," he said grinning. Mike rolled his eyes.
"We got to go, Wisconsin tomorrow," Mike said and the two left.
When they got back to the bus, Billie was still thinking fully of the brown haired and brown eyed girl named Adrienne Nesser.

Tre was humming Blitzkrieg Bop and looked up, "Billie met a girl!! Did you get laid? If you did, tell me!" He asked excitedly, his blue eyes lit up with excitement. Billie rolled his eyes.
"No I didn't, I got her number," He said dreamily.
"BILLIE'S IN LOVE..." Tre shouted out of the window.
Billie slouched back into the back seat in a thought. He loved Adrienne. Even if he only met her a few hours ago.

"I never knew about that Adie," Billie remarked thinking back to Derek.
"It was nothing big babe," Adie assured patting her husbands now fisted hand. She knew he hated Derek with a burning passion.
Billie relaxed and went back to his food.
