*At a noisy house*
"What Dad?? You're getting married?? To that crazy ass bitch??" Cody screamed. Her heart had stopped beating there for a second.
"Don't call her that! You know better than to swear at her! She's a nice lady. You'll come to like her. Her first impression on me was the same thing too but she's come to be very kind and sweet!"
"My ass...just because mom died...doesn't mean you have to find us a new mom to leave her memory behind! Aron and I love her and we know you love her too!" She ran into her room and slammed the door.
"Yeah, dad!" screamed Aron. "Got no heart! How am I going to explain to my girlfriend why there's a new lady here. Your girlfriend....fiancé told my girlfriend she was ugly! And she hasn't called me for two days! TWO DAYS! Thanks Dad for ruining my social life!" Then Aron ran back to his room.
*Cody's Room*
Cody was crying on her Billie Joe plushie. She couldn't believe what her dad had just told them. She quickly grabbed Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt plushie too. She suddenly laughed remembering one of their funny concerts. Green Day could always make her smile. She adored Green Day. She took the walkie talkie off her desk and turned it on. Wiped her tears off her face with her sleeve and started to talk to her brother who had the other walkie talkie.
"Aron...are you there? Please answer me! But be quiet 'cause dad might hear us."
No reply came. "Well, if you're listening I miss mom. I want her back but I know she's not coming home again."
"I know sis, I miss her too. The cancer had went into her lungs. She didn't have a chance. Are you okay though?" asked Aron.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Just a little breakdown."
"Kids...by the way, Alisa and her daughter are coming tomorrow and they're moving in too...yeah," annouced their dad.
"Shit."
