We met on the plane..., chapter 2
"I'm so sorry," I said to Tre, he just nodded.
"So Frankie, you're going to visit Ramona?" I asked him.
"Yeah!" he said excitedly "She's only my half sister though, we have the same daddy, but different." He paused at different and started to cry. I hugged him tightly and let him cry on my shoulder for a minute. Slowly he stopped crying and pulled away.
"Thanks," he said softly.
"What are friends for," I replied.
"Friends?" He asked looking up at me.
"If you want to be friends" I said back. He nodded his head excitedly.
"Hey Molls?" Frankie asked.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"How old are you?"
"I'm 32"
"You're almost as old as Daddy" He said laughing.
"The plane will be landing soon, please fasten your seatbelts."
Tre leaned over and helped Frankito buckle his seatbelt, and then buckled his own. I smiled to myself and buckled my seat belt.
A week later at the airport
I sat down in my seat and waited to see who would be sitting by me this time. I saw Frankito and Tre come down the isle and stop at my seat.
"Come on!" Frankito yelped excitedly.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Daddy got us three seats by the front of the plane!" Frankito said.
"Really?" I asked amazed that someone would even joke about doing for me.
"Yes! Come on!" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me toward first class.
"Really, you didn't have to do this. I'll pay you whatever it cost," I said awkwardly.
"No really its fine, I'm a rock star, I like using my money on other people," Tre said smiling.
"Ok, but my offer still stands," I mumbled as we got to our seats. I noticed that there were only two seats attached together then the isle. I started to move towards the seat on the opposite isle when Frankito stopped me.
"No, you sit next to daddy, that way when the plane takes off: I can sit on daddy's lap," Frankito explained. I smiled and sat down next to Tre.
"Please buckle your seatbelts the plane is taking off."
I reached over the isle and assisted Frankito in buckling his seatbelt. The plane soon took off and the seatbelt sign was removed; Frankito took his seatbelt off, climbed over me and sat on Tre's lap smiling.
"Guess what!" Frankie exclaimed.
"What?" I asked.
"That's what!" he said giggling. Tre also laughed at this, which soon got me laughing. As soon as the laughing stopped, Frankito started telling us about how he made a basket when he was playing basketball.
*A while later*
"Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddddddddddddyyyyyyyy," Frankito whined.
"Yeah little man?" Tre asked.
"I have to go potty," Frankito said.
"Do you need me to go with you?" Tre asked.
"No, I can go on my own," he replied starting off towards the bathroom. Tre looked kind of nervous for a second, before pulling on a fake smile.
"Hey I was wondering if..."
