Maybe Perfection Is Me., chapter 6

Sunny's Point of View

I sighed, picking up my phone. Everyone was in my hotel room, celebrating that I won 3 VMA's.
"Hello?" I asked.
"It's me," I heard Emmy's tearful voice.
"Hey! We won three times! Go us! I was just about to call Billie and congratulate him and stuff. Your dress was awesome, I wish I could have been there. I'm going home tomorrow. How's Paitan and Summer...what's wrong by the way?" I finally asked her.
"Jase, he caught me and Gerard making out," she mumbled.
"You what?! With...who? I...I missed it?!?! Jason? Is he okay? You! If I could be there, I would slap you so hard! After I went through this two years ago, and now you turn around and do it, not learning from my mistakes isn't good! You are in so much trouble with me, missy, you will hate your life for the next five months, that's right! You're grounded!" I told her.
"Not now Sunny." She burst into tears.
"Excuse me." I walked away, towards the bathroom and waited in the corner. The bathroom was empty and I quickly walked inside.
"Okay, Em. It's okay, I won't ground you for five months, only two? Is that fair?" I asked her, bringing a slight laugh from her.
"See? We're doing good. How's Jason? Pissed off? Eating a giant tub of ice cream? I don't know why people do that; when I'm depressed, I don't eat anything, starve myself, you know. You'll die quicker if you don't eat; you'll just get fat if you eat too much. I've never gained weight, maybe I should try some day; you can try with me. Unless you exercise to loose the weight, then you can just coach me through it, right? Jeeze, now I'm hungry. Do you got any...oops, this is about you." I laughed then listened to her plead with me to help her.
"How do I help? You kissed Gerard! Wow, is he a good kisser? Who brought it on first? You know, usually it's the guys going for girls, like the husband who has the affair, not the other way around," I told her.
"Sure, kinda. About Gerard..." she mumbled.
"Ooo, this is getting exciting. Stop knocking on the fucking door! I'm having girl chat! Go pee in the bushes downstairs!" I called out when someone wouldn't stop knocking.
"And Gerard brought it on...I think. But I didn't push him away; I'm married," she said.
"Yep, I have your ring to prove it. From the last time you puked before I left the Bahamas, except I never gave it back...if you were looking for it, that is," I mumbled.
"Yeah," she laughed. "I was wondering. Keeping it safe for me?" she asked.
"Sure am! It's beside mine, all pretty; they've become lovers, I don't think I wanna give it back. I could seduce Jason for you, sorta as a payback thing, kiss him...you know?" I asked her.
"No, no...wait...maybe. That's good!" She quickly shut her phone and I was left, sitting on the toilet seat, all excited about it but with nothing to do.
"Hey." Ben walked in. "You're not puking your guts out?" he asked.
"Nope, talking to Emmy, she kissed Gerard. Oops! Don't tell anyone! You do, I kick your ass and you'll never see me again. Umm, earlier flight, I gotta take, like now. Yay! Awesome that I won 3 VMA's, now that I'm all railed up, plane ticket?" I asked him.
"Here. I'll take you, private jet to Florida," he mumbled, helping me out of the bathroom and downstairs.

Emmy's Point of View

I sat on the bed, holding on the pillow, crying. I knew I had screwed up and that kissing Gerard was wrong. Sunny would be here in about an hour and would probably bite my head off about the entire thing. I heard Jason walking around in the kitchen, and then him knock on the door.
"Yeah?" I asked sniffling.
"I'm gonna go get some take out. You want some?" he asked without even looking at me.
"Could you get me some pizza, please?" I asked him, and he nodded and shut the door.

Jason came back and set down a small pizza on the bed, then walked out, shutting the door, well, more like slamming it. I sighed and got a piece of pizza out and tried to eat but couldn't, so I put it back in the box and set the box on the nightstand. I heard a knock about an hour later, then Sunny barge through the door, and she walked over to where I was and slapped me.
"Sorry...sudden urge there, um...do you have any ice cream?" Sunny said, and I just looked at her. She got up and walked into the living room looking for Jason.
"Where's that giant tub of ice cream!?! I wanted some! You...you didn't save me any?!?!" she said once she found him sitting on the couch watching TV. I knew he was pissed because he would always keep to himself and not talk to anyone.

"Sunny. I don't wanna talk to you right now. Just leave," I mumbled to her as she sat on the couch and ate popcorn, trying to get Jason to hand over the remote. She looked at me weird, then said, "Go to your room. I'm comforting Jason, not you," she said and I just looked at her and walked off to my room.
"Go to your room," I mocked her, walking off to my room.
"Hey missy. What did I tell you about mocking people?" Sunny asked, and I slammed the door as I walked into my room.
"What did I tell you about slamming doors?" she yelled, and I muttered things to myself and laid down on the bed.

Sunny's Point of View

I giggled to myself and took more popcorn, snuggling closer to Jason who finally gave up and put his arm around my shoulders, helping me snuggle closer.
"So...why are we watching racing?" I took the remote from him and handed him the popcorn, quickly changing the channel to some old movie.
"See? So much better," I smiled up at him.
"Right," he smirked at me.
"Is that a smirk I see? Are you smirking at me? You should be ashamed, anyone would kill to have a body like mine snuggle up to theirs, even girls! That's not something everyone can say," I told him, watching while his smile broadened.
"I guess I should take advantage of this opportunity, then," he told me, pulling me closer and resting his chin on my head.
"My head's itchy," I muttered a few minutes later, bursting into a fit of giggles when he moved his chin around on my head to scratch it. "Yeah, that helped, thanks," I laughed.
"It better have, it took a lot of energy to do that," he told me.
"I'm sure it did. Got all tired from that, yet you're still smiling at me rambling on and you'll respond to this," I told him.
"No, I'm not! Crap, I just responded," he laughed with me.
"So, been laid lately?" I asked him.
"Uh...yeah, couple days ago," he muttered.
"Good for you! I haven't been laid since five days ago. I'm bored." I grabbed the popcorn back and shoved the remote into the couch cushions where he couldn't take it without sticking his hands between my legs.
"Hey, that's not fair. I could get that you know," he teased.
"So could I," I smiled up at him; suddenly his lips were on mine.

Emmy's Point of View

I waited about 30 minutes, then walked back out.
"What. The. Fuck?" I said slowly.
"You were only supposed to fucking seduce him! I said nothing about making out!" I yelled at Sunny who jumped up from the couch, leaving Jason sitting there, confused.
"I'm going out. Do whatever the fuck you want. I might even go find Gerard!" I yelled and walked out of the room and slammed the door. I walked down the street to the nearest club and walked in quickly, pushing the press out of the way and noticing Leslie and Kelsey were there.
"Hey!" I yelled, walking up to them, trying to smile.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Kelsey asked me as we walked over to the bar and ordered drinks.
"Nothing. Just needed to get away," I mumbled, taking a drink of the Pina Colada that I ordered.

I stumbled back into my room, drunk as hell, leaning on Kelsey's shoulder. Jason and Sunny jumped up from the kitchen table and walked over to me, and I tried to avoid them, but Kelsey pushed me forward, and I fell into Jason, and he put his arms around as I fought him. The last thing I remember was Sunny and Jason helping me into the living room and then passing out about halfway there.

Sunny's Point of View

I sighed, looking at Emmy who finally ended up on the couch.
"Sorry Jase." I kissed his lips once, blushed, then walked to the door and out.
"Sunny!" Billie ran up to me, engulfing me into a hug and spinning me around.
"Hey, sweetie!" I kissed his lips and smiled down at him. I sat on his hip; he swiftly carried me to his room.
"I missed you." He kissed me again.
"Yeah. Me too. I seem to miss myself a lot, though. Hmm, wonder why. Congrats on your awards, by the way! I so beat you!" I smiled at him.
"Hey, that's not nice," he complained.
"I know, but I'm letting you get laid tonight, so I'm allowed to not be nice," I smirked at him.
"Oh, getting laid helps...you smell like Jason," he told me.
"Yeah, we were snuggling and watching some old crappy movie; we can watch it here. Why do you know what Jason smells like?" I asked him.
"Well, we umm...hey! You're trying to change the subject!" he accused.
"No, I think you're trying to change the subject; I told you why I smelt like Jason, you didn't tell my why you knew what he smelt like," I replied.
"Okay, both leave it along, and we're even?" he asked.
"Nope. I told you. Why do you know?" I asked, hopping down and taking off my boots.
"Umm, we had to all sleep in the same bed once...I was sleeping facing Jason...I know what you smell like," he told me.
"You better know what I smell like...what do I smell like?" I asked.
"Usually something fruity, and lavender...your usual scent is lavender, then the shampoo is fruity," he told me.
"Oh..." I paused, then jumped him and started making out with him.

Emmy's Point of View

I woke up in the bed with Jason's arm around my waist.
"I'm sorry," I mumbled gently, kissing him, then snuggling closer to him as he wrapped his arms tighter around me. I put my head on his chest and relaxed a little, then realized that I was beyond pissed off at Sunny, so I got out of bed and changed, stormed off towards Sunny and Billie's room, and pounded on the door. Billie opened the door, and I thought it was Sunny, and I punched him hard.
"Fucking hell! Emily! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Billie yelled, and I gasped.
"Billie! Oh my God! I'm sorry!" I yelled, looking at his lips that was bleeding.
"Why the fuck do you come to my door at 8 A.M. and punch me? I've never done anything to you!" he yelled.
"Sorry. I thought you were Sunny," I mumbled.
"You were going to punch Sunny? You guys are like best friends," he said, and I mumbled something.
"Sorry Billie. I'm just gonna go back to my room now," I said quietly and walked back to my room and noticed Jason was still asleep.

"Life is so complicated," I mumbled, sitting out on the balcony and talking to myself. Jason and I were barely talking, and I was mad at Sunny, and I felt bad because I had punched Billie for no reason.
"Hey. I'm sorry," I heard the person I least wanted to talk to walk out on the balcony.
"Don't you think you've done enough here?" I asked her coldly.

Sunny's Point of View

"Yeah, well. You have a better view, and I wanted to steal that too. Jeeze Emmy. I wouldn't have done anything at all. I was bored; Billie wasn't around, and you were super pissed for no reason. Jason and me were playing, it got out of hand. It's my fault. I know I can taunt a body, and I let it get out of hand. I usually contain myself. So. Since you punched Billie and thought it was me. Go ahead, punch me now," I said. I watched as she stood up and walked over; I shut my eyes and braced myself for the blow.
I was shocked when her arms came around me, and she burst into tears.
"Oh, okay. Get my shirt wet, that's some good payback too." I patter her back, then quickly guided her to a chair; I sat down on her lap and almost laughed when I realized that I had.
"See, we're okay now. Look." I handed her a Kleenex from the table. "We have beautiful children and..." I paused when she cried harder. "You don't still want to punch me do you? I really would rather keep my face; I find it quite beautiful, and you hugged me, I'm not ready for it anymore," I told her.
I sat on her lap and let her cry on my shirt for awhile until Jason came out to see what was wrong. He quickly blushed when he saw me.
"We're umm...she's sad 'cause you caught us making out? Me and Emmy that is...go away Jason, I'm busy getting my shirt washed right now; you could bring me some twizlers, though," I told him.
Two minutes later, he in fact, came with twizlers.
"Want some?" I poked Emmy's nose with one.
She looked up, then took it and bit in.
"There's a good girl. So umm...we gotta go home today. Why don't we make the guys pack and go party?" I asked her.
She nodded, whipped her eyes, and then pushed me off her lap. I landed on the ground with a thud, immediately bursting into laughter, making her laugh too.
I smiled up at her. We were okay...right?
