Ah, You're Leavin' Home, chapter 4
"Let's hear you then," said Billie Joe
"Alright. The stuff is all set up in the music room. We just gotta go and check if anyone's in there. Don't wanna get caught!!" I said. We all shuffled into the music room, from the audotorium and found that there wasn't a soul to be discovered.
Once Samantha, Jilly, and I got in our places we were ready to play. "Now, remember, we havn't played together, so it may sound a bit shitty. Sorry," I said looking down.
"Aw, no it's alright. Just do a little warming up and figure out waht song you wanna play, and tell us when you're ready, kay?" I nodded and went over to Sam, where Jill was. We decided on playing Longview, so Jill would have a chance to show off her "skills". She was good, but she called it skills. Which was... weird. Anyway, we started playing and won them over.
*3 Days Later*
"You all ready to go?" asked Mike?
"Yup, lets rock 'n' rolll!" I shouted. Samantha shot me a weird look, while Tre just smiled at me, with a stiffled laugh.
"Your like Billie, you know that?" asked Tre. "You act a lot like him. It's kinda funny, actually- we have a minnie-Billie!"
"Nahh... she's more like you, Tre," said Billie Joe as he poked his head into my kitchen. "Goofy... weird... has my talent, yes... but she's more like you." I have to say, I agree with Billie, but I didn't say anything. I wanted to leave so badly, it wasn't even funny. We had gotten the record deal with Adeline Records and were getting ready to go to the airport.
"Can we just leave?" I desperately asked. They all nodded their heads and we were finally off.
*Later at the airport*
"Bye Mom, bye Dad," I said as my voice cracked. I wanted to go, but I wanted to stay. I wanted to badly for them to come with us, but my dad's job kept him from leaving, and my mom wasn't about to fly away to Cali with out him.
"Bye honey. We'll miss you so much and we love you. Make sure to call us right when your plane lands and whenever you get the chance, all right?" said Mom.
"I will, I promise. I love you, too."
"Good luck, kiddo. We'll miss ya. I love you so much. And you guys," Dad said looking at the Green Day trio. "I want you guys to make sure they're all right. Bot just my daughter, but Samantha and Jillian." He was always calling my friends by their full names.
"We will, sir. Don't worry," said Billie.
"Flight 274 to Oakland, California is now boarding," said the PA system.
We all said good-bye and left for Oakland.
Once we got on the plane, lucky me, I got to sit mext to Tre.
"Ughhh... I have to sit with you?" I said. I wasn't dissapointed, I was actually really nervous. I had a thing for Tre. Little did I know he did, as well.
"You don't like me anymore?" asked Tre in a fake saddend voice.
"Nope, sorry!"
"Fine... be that way" Tre sat down next to me and then looked at me witha funny look.
"What?" I asked with a bit of attitude.
"....Huh? Oh... uhhh... nothing, never mind," said Tre. That was weird. Does he like me?
