Both Of Us Broken, Caught In The Moment, chapter 2
I walked into my new high school and went to get my locker number.
"233," I said outloud to no one in particular.
"I got 417," Sam said in a sad sort of voice.
"It's ok, hey, we still have Bio and Math together. Oh yea, and dont forget Lunch, right?"
I said, even tho my mind was trying to figure out where my locker was.
"Yea, I guess," Sam groaned.
"Well here it is!" I said as I walked up to my locker and opened it.
"See ya Nikki," Sam said as she walked up the hall slowly. I laughed and started putting my stuff in my locker. Just then, I heard the locker next to me open. I turned around. Sure enough, It was Billie Joe. I quickly turned back around and continued filling up my locker.
"Hey," he said.
I turned around.
"Uh, hi," I said and I tried to fake a smile.
"Listen, sorry about today, you know, the bus situation. Its just-" he said right before I cut him off.
"Dont worry about it," I said, a little relieved that he didnt say anything too brutal.
"Alright, see ya," he said as he slammed his locker and walked off.
Wow, I thought, he really isn't that bad after all.
I closed my locker and started heading to first period ELA.
"Nicole?" the teacher said as I walked into the classroom.
"Yes?" I said as I took my seat.
"You're late. I'll let you off with a warning this time, but next time, I wont, deal?" she said
"Whatever," I said back, not even paying attention.

After school, I got my stuff from my locker and got on the bus just in time.
"Hey, Freshman, come here!" shouted Billie Joe.
I walked to the back nervously and sat down.
"Hey Freshman!" one guy yelled.
"Uh hi?" I said really nervously.
"Look, there's a party tonight at Dylan's place. Wanna come? You can bring your little freshman friend, whats her name, Sarah?"
"Samantha," I said.
"Yeah, that one," he said.
"Uh, alright," I said.
"Cool."
After a few minutes everyone had gotten off except me and Billie Joe.
"I'm Billie Joe by the way," he said.
"Hey, I'm Nikki."
"Yeah, I know," he said and smiled.
"Oh really?" I said with a smirk.
"Yup," he said.
Just then the bus pulled to a stop. I got my stuff and followed Billie of the bus.
"Well, the party is at 8:00 tonight. I can get you a ride if you want. He lives just down the road," Billie Joe said.
"No it's ok, I'll just have to sneak out I guess," I said with a smile.
"Ooooo, sneak out, such a rebel," he said and winked.
I blushed.
"Well, I'll see ya tonight, ok?" he said.
"Ok," I said and smiled.
"See ya."
I ran back to my house in a hurry. I had to tell someone. Anyone.
