Welcome To Paradise...Er...Or Not, chapter 1
Meghan was getting dressed for school. She put on her blue ramones top and her black jeans and a studded belt. She went a little overboard with the eyeliner but it was still good. She went to meet her friend Katie at the end of the street. The walked to school together with "My Sharona" blaring out of Meghan's phone.
The reached the gets of school and waited outside for their other friend, Rachel. While they were waiting two new guys stood next to them. One of them started to talk to Meghan.
"Hey. I'm, uh, Billie Joe," he said staring at her with gorgeous green eyes, "And this is Tre," he said. Meghan felt her cheeks turning red and quickly introduced herself and Katie to them. The bell rang so they all went their separate ways. They all had a free period before lunch and they all miracously met up at the same point.
"Do you guys wanna go grab some lunch with us?" Tre asked them. They did so. They all went off in Billie Joe's car and went to McDonalds. Katie sat with Tre and Meghan sat with Billie Joe. They boys were in a band with a mate called Mike who was sick today so they couldn't meet him. They ate their lunch and talked for hours. So long that in fact they were late for school. They decided not to bother with going back but they went to Tre's house so the girls could see their set.
A few days later
Mike got better and he met Rachel. They seemed to hit it off straight away just like the two other pairs. The six of them hung out all the time. The girls had seen the band play and were going to one of their concerts that night. They got in early so they could be at the front. Billie Joe dedicated a song to Meghan and flashed her a cute smile.
*Meghan's POV*
Oh my God! Billie Joe is so hot! I can't believe he came up to talk to us at school. We have been hanging out for a while now and I really like him. He dedicated a song to me at his concert eeek, and he flashed that smile at me again. I wish he'd stop doing that; it makes me want him even more. After the concert, we all went back to my house, I live with my dad although he's never around. I was forced to live with him after my mom died. So I kind of live by myself. I made popcorn and we all watched a scary movie.
*Billie Joe's POV*
Damn it, Meghan's hot! I dedicated "She" for her, because I fancy her like crazy. We all went to her house after the gig. I thought her parents would be in, but they weren't. She told us not to worry about making too much noise because their one neighbour had gone on holiday. We watched scary movies and I helped Meghan make popcorn. I asked her what she thougt of the gig and she said it was great and she flashed me a cheeky smile.
"Thanks for the song," she whispered, just as Tre stormed in covered in popcorn.
"Look what Mike did!" he whined.
I raised my eyebrows at Meg and said, "I'd better go sort these two out before they kill each other." She giggled; I love her giggle. It's so girly and cute!
After the first scary movie had finished Tre went to find another one. Katie wanted some ice-cream and Meghan went to get it. Billie Joe jumed up and offered to help but Tre grabbed him by the hand and started to dance with him to te opening tune of the film. The film was too boring so they decided to play spin the bottle. Billie Joe spun it and it landed on Meghan.
*Billie Joe's POV*
YES! Please say 'truth'! Please say 'truth'! I said silently in my head.
"Truth," she said.
"Ok uh, will you go out with me?" I asked. Rachel and Katie squealed and Mike and Tre cheered. Meg went red and asked if she could talk to me in the next room. Shit! I thought, It's a no, then "Listen you don't have to say anything. It's ok, we'll just forget it ever happened ok?" I muttered.
"Billie?" Meg snapped. I turned around and she pulled me by my tie and kissed me.
"I'm guessing that's a 'yes', then?" I laughed. She giggled again and nodded. I held her hand as we walked back into the next room. The rest of them whooped and cheered.
*Meghan's POV*
YES! He finally asked me out. I didn't want to answer in front of the rest of the guys so I got him into the second lounge. He thought i was going to say no; bless him he looked so sad. I kissed him and he looked so cute after. We went back inside and Katie and Tre were missing.
"Oh they're playing 7 minutes in heaven," Mike said noticing my quizzical looks towards where they were sitting.
"Why?" Billie laughed plonking himself down next to me and put his arm round my waist.
"Um, Tre spun the bottle and it landed on Katie. He asked her if she wanted to and she said yes." giggled Rach. It seemed that everyone had hooked up that night. I noticed Mike and Rach were holding hands behind their backs, thinking no one could see.
A few months later and Billie Joe and Meghan were at a restauant. Bille had got bolagnese sauce all around his mouth. Meghan wouldn't stop laughing enough to tell him. He sprinkled her with water from his water that he hadn't even ordered.
"Listen," he said in a very serious voice. Shit thought Meghan, He's breaking up with me.
"Tre, Mike and I are going on tour next week, for two months. I was wondering whether you'd like to come?" he asked. Tre and Katie were still together and Mike and Rach were still together but Katie and Rachel were both going to France for a course they were doing and couldn't come. "You'd be the only girl but I'd take good care of you," he grinned. She smiled at him and said she would like to go.
At Meghan's house
They got in and started to kiss. Billie took Meg's coat off of her and Meg did the same to Billie. Just then, they heard a throat being cleared. They sprang apart and saw Meg's father standing in the hallway.
*Meghan's POV*
Christ! I can't believe it. All this time, my father's staying at his girlfriend's house or his mate's house and he chooses to come home now! Now, when things were getting heated between Billie and I.
"Uh, Billie this is my Dad. Dad this is Billie, my boyfriend." I said. My dad looked Billie up and down and decided that he was alright. Then he announced that he just popped in to see if I was ok and that he was going home. I walked into the kitchen and slammed the keys down on the table.
