Sarah and Joey, chapter 2

"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW DAD JOEY'S MAKING OUT WITH SOME GIRL!" Jakob screamed.
"Great just great, there goes my stupid brother," Joey said in a very mad tone.
"It's ok Joey im sure your dad won't be mad or anything," Sarah informed.
Then both Joey and Sarah both started to hear footsteps coming up the stairs while Jakob was standing at the door with his eyes wide opened.
"I hope dad doesn't think wrong or anything," Joey said to himself.
"Joey..........?"
"Y-yes?"
"I think Sarah should go home," Billie said.
"Ok, can I walk her home though?"
"Yea just be careful, it's dark out."
"Ok."
With that Joey and Sarah both headed out the door and started down the street! Both of them were able to get to Sarah's house easy enough since she was only down the street! After they got to Sarah's house Joey started back down the street after saying their goodbyes. Sarah walked into a half lit house. The tv was on some stupid soap show. Her mom was asleep on the couch since she was drinking. Even though sometimes her mom was very protective of her she would abuse her and ask the next day why she had bruises and cuts on her! Well Sarah would tell her but she wouldn't believe her and would ground her sometimes. Sarah would even say that their was this girl at school beating her up. Her dad died when she was 10. Which is probably why her mom drinks a lot, well that's what she thought.
Sarah went to bed around 7:00p.m because she was really tired.
The next mourning she woke up to her Green Day poster looking back at her. She thought the whole thing with Joey yesterday was a dream but then soon enough realized that it wasn't.
After getting up out of bed and getting in the shower and dressed and the same routine everyday she went to school. Once she got there she realized that she was early and headed for her first period. She waited outside the door when she saw Joey coming towards her.
"Hey," Joey said.
"Hey, so................. how did your dad handle it last night, did he freak?"
"He was fine with it, I mean he gave me the whole "talk" about sex and what making out leads to and everything but I could of swore all I heard the whole time was blah, blah, blah. But that's because I know all of that already. But otherwise he was fine with it. He was mad that Jakob yelled during his favorite show but he got over it. What about you, did your mom find out or anything?" Joey asked.
"Nope, she was asleep when I got there."
"Hey are you ok? You have a huge bruise," he asked me with a worried look on his face.
Joey's POV*
She looked really sad and wouldn't answer me she just tried to change the subject. It figures the bell saves the day. I really wanted to know what happened, I have a bad feeling at what answer im going to get. And trust me I will get an answer soon enough.
Sarah's POV*
Why does he want to know? Im not going to tell him. But anyways I hope school goes by fast.

Everybody started to pack up so I assumed school would be out in a couple of minutes. After about a minute or so, I heard the bell ring. I got up from the back of the class and was about to head out the door when Mrs. Ambrosini called me back in.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Are you ok? I have noticed that you have a bruise on your arm and on the lower part of your arm. Have things at home been ok?" she asked looking at my arm.
"Yea, I just fell down off my skateboard and hit a rock," I said with my voice cracked a little.
"Ok as long as there is nothing wrong. You know if there is anything wrong you can tell me right?" she asked.
"Yea I know, thanks."
After that I headed out room 34. Then I saw Joey waiting for me at the end of the ramp.
"Hey, what's up?
"Hey so you wanna go to my house and help me study this stupid test we have?" he asked.
I thought to myself "Should I or should I not? I don't know, god what do I do? Ok your fine just go over and study, he said he wanted to study. Shit I have been staring at him to long but hes so cute, ok, ok, ok, focus."
"Sure," I said. "I'm sure my mom won't notice."
"Ok cool, let's go," he said skipping down the ramp like a moron.
"You look like you are very hyper," I yelled.
"I am I sniffed scented erasers, didn't you see me?
"No I was trying at least to get some of my homework done," I said while laughing my ass off.
After that we started down the street and finally got to Joey's house. We went inside and went to his room. We sat on his bed like we did the other day and got out our things and looked at our history book, when Joey noticed somthing.
"Sarah don't move ok?" he whispered.
"Why?" I whispered back.
"Just because, just watch and go along with what im saying ok?"
"Alright," I said
"Hey Sarah you wanna make out with me? I'm sure my brother isn't around," Joey asked and then blinked at me.
"Sure," I said.
Just then we saw Jakob come running in and yelling at Joey.
"Uh oh," Jakob said in a low voice.
"Uh oh is right," Joey said with an evil grin on his face. He looked over at me and then back at Jakob. "I'll be right back." With that Joey chased Jakob out the door and into the hall. Then I saw Joey come back in with a huge grin on his face.
"What did you do to him?" I asked.
"Oh nothing, you'll find out in a minute," he said laughing.
I looked over at the door and saw Jakob standing there with a bunch of goo all over him and one feather on top of his head. After I saw that I was on the floor, along with Joey, laughing so hard we were crying. After Adie went and helped out Jakob and cleaned him up, me and Joey were studying.
"Hey can I ask you somthing?"
"Sure, what is it?" I said kind of confused.
"Are you ok? I noticed the bruise on your arm."
"Oh that, I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes im fine trust me."
"You know you can tell me anything, right?" he said.
"Yea I know."
After about 5 minutes later we had enough of studying and went outback. Adie and Billie were out in the pool with Jakob while me and Joey were watching them. I looked over at Jakob and he was looking at me with a huge grin on his face.
"What?" I asked scared at what he was going to say.
"Stand up real quick." I stood up and felt him pick me up and threw me over his shoulder.
"What are you doing?............................ No Joey, don't, I will kill you if you do. Joey.................. DON'T JOEY DON'T YOU DARE." I screamed.
After that all I could hear was laughing. "DAMN, JOEY I TOLD YOU NOT TO THROW ME IN THE POOL..I'M GOING TO KILL YOU." I screamed.
Then I started to chase Joey around the yard when finally I was able to push him in the pool. He got out and looked at me threw his hair that was now covering his face. "You're gonna wish you didn't do that," he said in a tense but laughable voice.
"Why? What is poor little Joey gonna do about it?" I asked in a high pitched voice.
"This," he said. He tackled me to the ground and started to tickle me. "Take it back, tell me your sorry or I won't stop," he said while laughing.
"Ok, ok ,ok I-I'm s-so-sorry," I managed to say.
"Ok."
After a fun day at Joey's I was on my way home when I couldn't get the front door open.
