Sarah and Joey, chapter 4

Still Sarah's POV
"OH MY GOD NO, PLEASE NOOOO!" Sarah screamed.
I thought to myself that my mom didn't die but they were saying she was! She's the only one I got, even if she sometimes beats on me!
"Where the hell am I supposed to go now? I don't have many friends except Joey! That's it. I will go to Joey's."
I went to my room and packed all my things since I don't have many things! I packed up my shirts, pants, my guitar, and some posters. I went into my mom's room and got some things that will remind me of her because if she does die then I don't have to fight with the people that take away her stuff. I took a picture of her and some of her jewellery. I got my keys and locked the door, then started walking down the street and headed down to Joey's house and noticed something different. There was paint everywhere. I looked around and saw Billie on a ladder painting the house and then saw Tre dumping paint on Billie and Mike. By this time I was laughing my ass off.
"OH. Hey Sarah!" Billie yelled down the ladder.
"Hey, how come you're painting the house?" I asked.
"Well Adie wanted me to, have no clue why we didn't just hire someone or something, but I'm doing it. Anyway was your mom mad when you came back?"
Billie's POV
When I asked her I saw her smile go to a frown in a second. I climbed down the ladder and smacked Tre with the paint brush because I wanted payback. I went over to her and lifted her chin so that she was looking up at me. She had tears rolling down her face and her eyes started to turn red a little.
"Sarah what's wrong? Did something happen to your mom?" I asked.
"Yeah, I went home and was watching TV when I saw that her car hit another. I think she might be dead Billie, I don't want her to die, my dad already died when I was 10 and now her."
By this time she was on the ground sitting with me and crying into my shoulder. I saw Jakob run out and Joey following him. Joey was trying to get the ball when he saw Sarah in my lap crying. He came over and asked what's wrong.
Sarah's POV
I saw Joey come over and I pushed into Billie's shoulder more because I didn't want Joey to see me like this even though he kind of did already. I don't want to hurt him or anything. Maybe I should just stay away, that way I won't ever bother them again.
Joeys POV
I saw Sarah trying to get out of my dad's grip and then she ran with her stuff. I started to run after her when she dashed into the woods. I told dad and he helped me look for her, we found some of her stuff by a tree and then kept looking.
"SARAH!" I yelled hoping she could hear me.
"SARAHHH!"
I just fell to my knees crying. I liked her so much and now she's gone, just disappeared.
I couldn't take it anymore, not having her around was just unbearable. I took her stuff and took it with me and kept looking.
*Later*
We kept looking. By now it was probably 8pm and my cell rang. I looked at it and it said Sarah on it. I picked it up and heard nothing.
"Hello? Hello? Sarah?"
I heard her voice and it was cracked a little.
"SARAH! Oh my god, are you ok? Where are you?"
"I-I don-don-don't know. Joey I ha-have no clue. But my leg hurts really bad."
"It's ok, just yell and we will try to find you."
I heard a yell and knew it was her, I was running so fast I couldn't believe it. I tripped over a branch and then my dad fell on top of me. It hurt very badly. Haha.
"Yeah, there's a branch there," Sarah said.
"Haha I kinda figured that. I'm so happy you're safe."
Sarah's POV
I hugged Joey back and then yelled really loud.
"Sarah what's wrong?" Joey asked.
"My leg hurts and you just kicked it."
Billie came over and was looking at my leg.
"Does this hurt? Does that hurt? How about this?"
"AHHH! FUCK THAT HURT!"
"Ok I will take that as a yes," Billie chuckled.
Me, Joey, and Billie got out of the woods with our stuff. Then I heard a cell ring I took out mine and so did Joey and Billie.
"It's mine," Billie said.
Me and Joey just shrugged and put ours back. I could hear Adie just screaming at Billie for not telling her that he left and went in the woods.
"Adie, baby, I'm sorry."
Me and Joey were laughing our asses off. Billie hung up his phone and looked at us. He gave us both a glare and kept walking.
"FINALLY MOONLIGHT WOOOOO" I yelled out of joy.
We walked back to Joey's house and went inside. We sat on the couch and Adie came in.
"Oh thank god you guys are safe."
"So let me look at your leg better now that we're in light," Billie said.
Everyone gathered around me and was looking. It was actually quite funny.
"She broke it," Tre said eating an apple.
"How do you know?" we all said all at once.
"Well look, her leg is swollen, a little purple and she can't walk. Well, that's what I think."
*The next mourning*
I woke up in Joey's room. I got out of bed and went down stairs and noticed that Joey was on the couch sleeping. He was snoring so loud. I went over to the couch and jumped on top of him.
"BOO!" I screamed.
"AHHH!" Joey and me fell off the couch and onto the floor. We got up and out of the corner of my eye saw Jakob coming down the stairs with something in his hand.
"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" I said.
"Awww, she always ruins the fun."
After we eat breakfast we went to the doctor and it turned out Tre was right, I do have a broken leg. We went and got a cast on my leg and everyone signed it.
Then later that day me, Joey, Jakob, Adie, and Billie went to the hospital. They waited in the waiting room while I went in to see my mom. I went to the front desk and asked. She was in room 7. I went in and sat down. I sat there and Joey came in. He sat by me and we just sat waiting for her to wake up.
