Tré (is more than) Cool, chapter 3
When we got to Gilman, it was about 7:45 and we all grabbed a beer and tried to get as close to the front as possible. We didn't fit in as much as other people when it came to clothes, but other then that we fit like a glove. Totally obnoxious drunken perverts.
"Why do we need to be so close to the front? Who's playing?" Mary yelled over the crowd.
"Green Day! I love their old CD I have! Besides, you should see the drummer!" I yelled back at Mary.
"Ohhh I see!" Kelsey giggled.
"Oh okay I-" Mary was cut off by almost everyone in Gilman's cheering. We all looked around to the small stage and saw 3 men run onto the stage. A fairly short guy with reddish brown hair, a slightly taller guy with blonde hair and a bass (I figured the first guy was the singer/guitar player by then) And then.... Tre. Beautiful, brown-haired Tre. I cheered louder than anyone, I guess the beer was getting to me. I saw Tre look at me and he smiled big and waved. I waved back with a big grin on my face. The other band members set their eyes on me for a second, then at Tre. They looked surprised, like as if Tre has never gotten a pretty girl before.
"So that's your guy, huh?" Mary yelled.
I blushed red. "He's not mine YET!!" I laughed and looked back on Tre and the rest.
"We're Green Day!!" the Red-brown-haired guy yelled.
"I'm Billie Joe Armstrong! This is out bass player, Mike Dirnt! And our fantastic drummer, Tre Cool!" Billie yelled into the microphone.
The crowd went insane.
"...And... And uh, I see Tre seems to have a girl in the crowd here!" Billie laughed softly and motioned for me to come up on stage.
Tre grabbed a microphone and came up to the front and helped me up. When I got up he hugged me and kissed me. The crowd went fucking CRAZY and yelled random things up at us.
"Well, uh, this is Ariel...! I guess...I guess you could say we're dating or something!" Tre laughed softly.
Billie gave me a microphone.
"Yeah I guess so...we just met because of my friend Atrina! Anyone know Atrina M.?" I said.
About 40 people cheered and clapped.
"Oh wow!" I laughed and looked at Tre, into his beautiful eyes. He smiled and leaned in to kiss me. I put my arms around him and kissed him for a long long time. I wasn't really thinking about Mary and Kelsey, and their reaction. When we broke our kiss the crowd cheered and screamed. Some girls looked disgusted and spit at me. Tre and I looked at them and grinned. I jumped down and stood next to Kelsey and Mary.
"Well well well!" Kelsey grinned and laughed at me.
"Oh, shut up!" I giggled and smacked Kelsey's shoulder jokingly.
They started pretty quick after that. They played a song called 'Longview', 'Welcome To Paradise', '1000 hours', and a few others. They didn't play for very long, because they got tired and the crowd wanted the other bands to come up. After they got done, Billie motioned us to come over to behind the stage. All three of us went to the back and met up with Billie, Mike, and Tre.
"Hey, guys," I said to all of them.
"Hi lovley!" Tre said to me and kissed my cheek.
"Dude Tre, don't start the second you see her, Jesus," Billie laughed.
"Hey, does Mike talk?" Mary said.
"Of course I talk!!"
We all laughed.
I yawned and Tre did too.
"Ohhh I'm kinda tired..." I yawned again, then I jumped because the other band started. Operation Ivy. FUCKING AWSOME.
"GET A ROOM!" Kelsay and Mary yelled, drunk as sailors.
Tre laughed at me and I punched his arm.
"OWWWW!" Tre jumped around the room holding his arm.
"That's what you get for laughing at me, Tre." I nodded at him and giggled softly.
"Well I'm not tired anymore!!" he yelled. I laughed harder and hugged Tre.
"I love you, retard..." I smiled and kissed him.
He blushed a little and kissed back.
