Bam and Me, chapter 2
"Ready?" Bam asked when I got all buckled in afer he forced Ryan and Raab in the back seats.
"Yep" I smiled and we drove off to the beach.
I lay out on my towel and sunbathed as Bam, Johnny, Steve-O, Chris, Ryan and Raab all played football on the sand. Johnny kicked the ball too high and it landed right next to my face and splattered sand all over me.
"Ahh! Johnny! Keep it over there you guys!" I screamed and booted the ball back to them.
"Oh harden up, it's only sand" Raab laughed. Bam went up silently behind Raab and shoved a handful of sand right in his mouth. Raab spluttered and gagged on the sand.
"Ohh dude I think I tasted dog piss" Raab spat. Steve-O laughed and the rest all started throwing sand at each other. I squealed and hid behind the sun shade. Bam jumped in next to me, covered in sand.
"Go away! They'll see where you've gone and get me too!" I squealed.
"I'm hurt that you would throw me into the line of fire like that" he said in a mock hurt voice but picked me up and used me as a sheild to stop sand being thrown at him. Needless to say that it didn't work and I got covered in sand.
"I hate you Bam Margera" I grumbled and swept the sand off me.
"Oh if only I believed you" he said and picked me up again and carried me to the water.
"No. Don't. You. Dare" I warned but I might of well of been talking to a brick wall. Bam carried me out to deep water and dropped me in, I resurfaced looking angry. Bam hugged me.
"I'm sorry baby, you know I love you" he laughed. I pushed him off me and ducked under the water and found some seaweed, I know Bam hates seaweed so I swum underneath him and put it down the back of his boardshorts.
"Ohh what the fuck!!!" he yelled and ran into shallower waters to pull it out.
I laughed hystericly at him and he danced around trying to get away from the seaweed.
"Oh you are soooo in trouble now" he grinned and ducked me under. I screamed and laughed and got a mouthful of water.
"I think I'm going to be sick" I muttered and ran out of the water and vomited in the sand. Sea water always made me vomit.
"Oh shit thats yummy" Chris laughed, "Steve-O I dare you to eat that" he said, Steve-O looked from the vomit to Chris and back again.
"Yeah, um, you first" he back dared. Suddenly, Glomb came running out of nowhere screaming Bam's name.
"Bam! It's your Girlfriend!" he screamed. Bam looked confused.
"What about her?" he asked.
"She's super pissed and she's dumping you" Glomb said puffing and panting.
Bam looked heartbroken, "Are you fucking with me or are you serious?"
"Serious as corn is yellow"
Bam walked off without another word and got in his car and zoomed off. I hated to see him get heartbroken. Bam was always falling for girls that would end up taking him for a ride then expectng him to pay for it. 90% of the time Bam was the Dumpee rather than the Dumper. Mind you I hadn't had the best of luck with guys too and ended up in the same state as Bam. Everyone was always telling us this was because Bam and I were meant to be together but to be honest Bam is my best friend and that would be weird, espeically if we broke up and it became awkward. Bam and I had never tried anything on with each other, even when we were drunk as two alcoholics in a brewery and we wouldn't be trying it anytime soon. We all packed up the stuff and got a ride back to Bam's in Chris's van.
I went into Bam's room and seen him sitting on his matress with his face in his hands and the phone smashed on the wall opposite.
"Bam?" I said softly and closed the door. Bam didn't look up at all, I sat down next to him and put my arm around him.
"She thinks I'm having an affair with you" he grumbled.
"What? But you're my best friend, that would be weird" I laughed.
"Not to her it's not, as far as she's concerned, we are having an affair and nothing I can say will change her mind, she doesn't want to talk to me or anything"
"Then forget about her, if she doesn't listen to you then she's obviously not good enough for you" I told him.
"You reckon?"
"When have I ever been wrong about this sort of thing?" I asked him. In reality I have been able to give him some good advice to stop him going out of control and hurting himself and others over this sort of thing.
"Never" he sighed.
"There you go, so forget about her and move on" I kissed his shoulder and lent my head on him. He put his arms around me and we lay on his bed in each others arms like we always did when one of us was going through a rough time, nothing sexual, just a friendly gesture but it ment so much to us both.
"Do you think we'll be best friends forever?" Bam asked me.
"I plan on it" I mumbled.
"Good, because I love you" he told me.
"I love you too"
We lay there for hours just talking about nonsence and random things and it was about 8:30pm before Villie Valo came over to see Bam.
"Hey dude, I heard about your chick, sorry eh" he said and sat on the end of the bed.
"Yea, well, life goes on" Bam smiled at me.
"So when are you two going to go out?" Villie asked.
"Uhhh, never" I said.
"But you two would be cute together" Villie whinged and thumped his fist on the bed like a child.
"So would you and your sister" Bam shot back.
"Oi, I told you never to speak of that" Villie laughed.
