Bam and Me, chapter 7
Over the next couple of weeks, Anthony and I stayed over at the Margera's, and I tried to put some weight on. I was back up to 55kg now and feeling better about everything, but, unfortunately, it was time for Anthony to go back to his band.
"Bye. Look after yourself and don't slip off the wagon, ok?" he said as I hugged him before he got into his car.
"Ok, take care on the road," I told him and stepped away from his car.
"Make sure she doesn't do anything silly and keep out of trouble, you two," Anthony told Bam.
"I'll make sure she doesn't," Bam said and electric shocked me in the ribs. I squealed and prodded him in the stomach.
Later that night, Bam and I were curled up on the couch watching Zoolander and eating popcorn.
"Oi." Bam nudged me and opened his mouth; I threw a piece of popcorn at him and got him in the eye.
"Ow, in my mouth, not at it." He laughed; I opened my mouth for him to shoot one in, and he got it. I held my arms up in triumph.
"Stella rules all," I said and made a cheering noise.
"Yea, but I threw it. That means Bam rules all."
"Nuh uh."
"Yuh ha."
"Nuh uh."
"Yuh ha."
"Don't start with me, boy, or you'll be in trouble," I warned.
"Ooo, promise?" he grinned and threw a handful of popcorn at me.
"Oh my god, no you didn't."
"Oh my god, yes I did. What are you gonna do 'bout it, girly?" He laughed and chucked more popcorn at me, and got it down my top.
"Aw, now look what you did!" I cried out and fished down my top for stray popcorn pieces.
"Can I help?" he asked. I glared at him. "Ok, I take that as a no." He grinned.
Bam stopped throwing popcorn and looked at me with a puppy dog pout. Argh! I can't resist the puppy dog pout!!
"What do you want now?" I asked.
"You," Bam said with out hesitation. I smiled at him and lent over him teasingly.
"Well, we'll see what we can do about that," I said as I traced the heart-a-gram on his belt buckle with my finger, my body just millimeters over his. Bam grinned and tried to kiss me, but I moved back and sat properly.
"Hey, not fair," he whined.
"What isn't?"
"How come you can tease me like that and I don't even get a kiss?"
"Because I am a tease, and it's what I do"
We watched the rest of the movie in relative silence, and Bam switched the TV off at the end.
I sighed deeply and purposefully.
"What?"
"Nothing, I just felt like sighing."
"I bet you did, gay boy."
"Gay boy? How can I be a gay boy?" I laughed my ass off at him.
Bam shrugged. "Not sure, it was just the first thing that came to my mind"
"Oh thanks. So when you think of me you think of a gay boy?" I laughed.
"No!"
"Well, what do you think of then?"
Bam looked at me and sighed, "You know it already, it's not going to change, and you'll always be in my heart," he said. That was one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me before, and I knew he meant it. Just then something clicked into place in my brain, and I started thinking clearly. Bam loved me, I loved him. The only thing stopping us from being together was my stubbornness to realize my feelings for him are too strong to shove into a box and push to the side of my mind.
"Bam..."
