Floras, chapter 3
As the twins walked out of the school with happy grins on their faces, they saw the strangest sight.
A bright oval like shape appeared out of nowhere. it glowed and swirled in a blueish color. Lightning shot out of it every so often. Kimalaya and Kartius stared in awe. What was it? Then to futher their amazment, a leg stepped out of the thing. then a arm, then a man heaved himself out.
He had jet black hair, and bright green eyes. He had a gotee and handsome features and thin eyebrows. He turned and caught sight of the twins and smiled. This did not improve his handsome features. In fact, it made him rather insane looking.
"At last!" he said happily. His voice was smooth and fit him well.
"At last what?' asked Kartius.
"I have found you!" The man continued. "I have searched everywhere... I have only found those twins of the months, May, April, and June. But at last I have found those of July!"
"How did you know our birthdays are in July?" asked Kimalaya suspicously.
"I know all about you and Kartius, Kim," said the man.
Kim took a step back.
"Are you a stalker?" she asked.
"Hardly." he said. "I am just like you... have you any... nautural abilities?"
"Yes...." said Kartius slowly.
"Well so do I," said the man gesturing to the blue oval behind him. "I can create portals. To travel me to where, or WHEN i want to go..."
"Amazing!" Kartius exclaimed, walking over to the portal.
"Yes, and your power is?" asked the man curiously.
"Fire. We can cotrol and manipulate it. Oh and there's some thing else... I... I don't know how to explain it..." said Kim slowly.
"Yes. Every pair of twins has it," said the man grimly. "Well, the twins with these abilities. They are born once every month, on the first. You must NEVER use it."
"Why?" asked Kartius. "It's amazing, I mean really, REALLY powerful-"
"That's why," said the man. "it's so powerful, it sucks away your life force in order to work. If you keep useing it, you will eventually die, far, far too soon."
"Wow... that sucks," said Kim quietly. "But we can still use the Fire?"
"Yes," said the man.
"Their's some thing I don't quite understand," said Kartius. "What do you mean every pair of twins?"
