Only Time Will Tell For Her, chapter 2
"Beatrice! It's so nice to finally have you home!"
"Archie, it's been three hours," Beatrice stepped over the threshold, pushing past Archie on her way in, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get ready. I just got a call from mom on my cell; She said that the baby is... on it's way."
"Oh, petty things." Archie sighed, and went out to his car, "Hon, I'll be at work."
Beatrice sighed, and went up the wooden steps into her bedroom to change out of her blue work uniform.
She remembered the day Mom told her she was pregnant. They were so ecstatic, her and her new husband.

Billie woke up to the sound of his cell phone ringing. He slowly rose from his position on the couch.
"Hello?" he said, stifling a yawn.
"Daddy!"
Billie smiled, he hadn't spoken to her in about three weeks, "Hey Beatrice."
***
"Haushinka, look at me!" Mr. Crall called from the rafters of the theater, "You're on in five."
***
"Tre... Tre... The baby is coming, we can't hold on any longer! I already called Beatrice, so she might be waiting!"
Tre continued to read his newspaper, his reading glasses perched on the bridge of his nose.
"I'll just go myself then!" Adrienne jumped up, only to be overcome with yet another contraction. Admitting defeat, she sat back down again in the leather suede chair, "Tre..."
Tre looked up from his reading, finally realising what was going on, "Go to the car, RIGHT NOW! I-I'll get the bags." Tre pushed Adrienne up from the chair, and out the door, as he ran up the stairs into the bedroom him and Adrienne shared.
