The Poetry Teacher, chapter 3

The kiss felt so right, that I had this feeling like I'm the only girl in his life. I opened my eyes, once we parted, and he sat there, starring at me. The vibe for me was pretty awqward, but yet it felt like we had a special connection between us. He began to say, "Sandy, since the moment I saw you, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Like everything seemed different, just because you were there to make this whole new experience in this school easier for me. I want to thank you for that."

I smiled warmly, and began starring at the floor, feeling a wave of shyness spreading all over me. He looked at my expression, and to make all easier, he lifted up my chin, and gave me a peck in the lips. I felt like I wanted to run, but then, wanted to stay, pretty much it was all confusing for me. I stopped kissing him back, and backed away, was I scared? I looked at me funny and said, "What's wrong? Are you okay?" I nodded, and he continued to kiss me. I felt a small tear streaming down my eye, and this time I felt like running.

He stopped kissing me, and said, "Sandy, you seem nervious, do you want me to stop?"
I replied, "I'm sorry Billie, but maybe you need somebody with more experience." He replied with sympathy, "No, no, it's okay, I mean, you're ok. I don't really have a problem with you."
I smiled, feeling relieved that he didn't think I was horrible. I asked him, feeling like I should've held it back, "Do you do something like this every often?"
He replied with a smile, "This is my first time, why?"
I shrugged saying, "Just asking, since you are like really good at doing something like this. I just feel that we shouldn't be doing this, we should just be friends."
He sighed and said, "You're right, but it's just that I like you so much. I wouldn't want to give you up."
I replied, "I know, but you're screwing with the law here. You could end up in prisong for a long time, and I wouldn't want that for you."
He looked at the floor, and then back at me, he said, "I've messed with the law almost all my teen years, AND my early adult years. Why should this be any different?"
I replied, "Maybe because this is more serious, than the other things you've done before."
He nodded and said, "You're right once again, I don't know Sandy, you still want this, 'being friends,' part?"
I repled, "Yeah, I think it's better, you could easily be viewed as my dad."

He laughed and said, "Damn! Do I really look that old?!"
I replied, "You don't look old, you just are." He laughed again and pushed me slightly on the shoulder. I acted like it hurted really bad and said, "Dang, guy! You abused me already!" He laughed slightly and rolled his eyes. I really liked him and all, but the law is the law, just like the song, 'I fought the law, but the law won. I fought the law, but the law won.'

Just as we were joking around, the bell rung for the end of lunch. I sighed and said, "Well, I guess our little antiques got us late for lunch to be over."
He replied with another sigh, "Yeah, do you still wanna go though? I mean, your teacher and my students wouldn't mind."
I replied, "Are you sure?"
He replied, "Hell yeah, I'm sure, it could be like a little date."
I wanted to tag along and said, "You know what? This is the first time I've actually done something rebelious, let's go."
He said happily, "That's my little rebelious girl!" I laughed and started the engine, just as he was buckling up his seatbelt. I pulled out of the student parking lot, and we were off to our first date. It felt awsome just ditching school for a day, or should I say half an hour.

I guess my little rebelious side got the best of me, because I was planning for the rest of the day, until after school, so he can go home in his car. We headed to Olive Garden, my favorite restaurant, when I found out, it was his too. I parked perfectly in a parking space in front of the restaurant, and we got out. Just as we were walking, he was reaching over for my hand, and slid his fingers into mines. I felt a tingly sensation in my spine, this day was going to run smoothly, just because he was with me.

We headed inside the restaurant, just as the hostess led us to a booth, not being able to get her slutty eyes off of Billie. I felt like hitting her in the back of her little head with beaded bag, but kept myself together. Billie didn't, pretty much, realize what was going on, until I told him, "Bill, that slutty hoestess was checking you out, and I couldn't resist to hit her with my bag."
He laughed and said, "Really? You'd really beat her up for me?"
I replied with a smile, "Of course."
In that spare of a moment, she came back and directicly asked Billie, "What would you like to drink, precious?"
Hold up, hold up, did that pest just called my Billie precious?! I'll give her something precious to talk about! I just sat there, glarring at her, as she was making a move on my man. I cleared my throat, disrrupting her moment, and said, "I'd like a martini, please."
She stared at me with confusion and said, "Aren't you too young?"
I replied, "No, I'm actually 29, but I look too young for my age. If you weren't too busy hitting on my man, you would've knowned that."

She looked shocked and confused at the same time, and said, "Right away ma'am."
Just when she left, Billie burst out laughing, and said, "How do you really come up with this stuff?"
I replied with a shrug, "I don't know, I just do."
