My life as Alice Stoner., chapter 3
Confused as hell, I ran to my next class. Hoping to avoid another, "You go Alice!" cheer on my way. But I failed. I ran as fast as I could to the class. I wasn't used to people cheering me on. More like cheering Stacey White on. She was the biggest prep clone the world had ever seen, anything she did, was considered cool. She was our "queen."
"Attention," Mrs. Hamilton's voice echoed through the halls as she said over the intercom. Everyone stopped in a dead silence. Whenever Mrs. Hamilton said something ovet the intercome, she meant it.
"Everyone, report to the auditorium for an urgent assembly. Thank you."
Oh fucking great. Assembly time. Woo-hoo. Ugh. I dragged myself to the auditorium.
When I got there, Mr. Sanders grabbed me by my arm. He was the assistant principal.
"Mrs. Hamilton had special orders for you." He groaned.
"What the hell? Special orders?" I pulled myself out of his grasp.
"Yes, special orders. It seems your little speech this morning encouraged Mrs. Hamilton for some new rules."
Oh fucking fantastic. Last thing I need is new restrictions. Mr. Sanders pulled me and sat me down in the front of the auditorium. As soon as I sat down, Mrs. Hamilton appeared on the stage.
"Good morning students..." Mrs. Hamilton started, "As you may know, I had Alice Johnson in my office this morning..." As soon as my name was said, people cheered a bit, "And I had accidentally hit my elbow on the intercome speaker, so the whole school heard her little speech. Anyhow, she got me to think. Why does everyone have to be the same? Why can't we all express ourselves a little? From now on, everyone have the privilege to do what the way, when they want. No more passes needed. No more suspensions, detentions, nothing. Have fun!"
The entire student body cheered. Oh. My. God. This was going to be hell. Not that it already wasn't. but still. Same deal. Ugh.
After the assembly, I went upon my normal business. on my way home, several kids cheered at me and offered me a ride home.
I had that normal, bland dinner with my father. My mother was still at work. She worked late on weeknights, which sucked.

Ugh. Tuesday morning. Just as bad as Monday, but also a little better. 4 more days left. Ugh. Shit. I tried to open my eyes, but the sun was being vulgarly bitchy and kept seeping into my eyes. It stung like a bitch.
Finally, it beared with me, and let me up. I dressed in the same-old, same-old. Tight jeans, black tee and hobo glove. Hmm yeah, I could make it work for today. I slipped on my vans and brushed through my hair. I applied some eyeliner and eye shadow. Ahh. Perfect. I got my torn vans on and headed out the door.
I didn't bother to eat breakfast that day, so I just headed out for school. I finally arrived at school, and something horrible had happened. What the hell had happened?! It's like I got in contact with Dr. Evil and made clones. People dressed like me everywhere I looked. Oh. My. Goth.
"Hey Alice! Have lunch with me today? Great!" some random girl yelled to me.
"Alice! Go out with me! Please?!" some boys called out.
I thought I was individual. I thought I was me. What the fuck, man?! No one was supposed to dress like me! What had gotten into them?!
