FLASHBACK TO MID-1993
"Well, thank you all for coming today," Dr. Memor said. "Have you all signed the waivers?" Sahara, Rob, Billie Joe, and Adrienne nodded. "Good. Chelsea here will get a blood sample, and then we'll go from there." Billie Joe looked terrified.
Chelsea came over and dabbed Rob's arm, then drew the blood, and repeated it with everyone else.
"Now if you will step into this room, we will see which couple is most compatible with our tester and we will inject into that person, who will carry the child, but he or she will be all of your child." They all stepped into the room Dr. Memor instructed them to.
"Oh my god, I'm so nervous," Adie said, gripping Billie Joe's hand tightly.
"Adie, sweetie, I kinda need my hand to play guitar," Billie Joe winced. Sahara looked over at them and smiled.
"Don't worry, Adrienne, everything'll be fine," she smiled. Adrienne weakly smiled back.
2 HOURS LATER
Someone knocked at the door and Dr. Memor and Chelsea came in. "We...have the results," Dr. Memor said, sitting across from 4 very tense people.
"Alright...well, Sahara, Adrienne, you're both compatible, but..."
"But...?" Adrienne muttered.
"Sahara's...going to get the injection, but she's all four of yours."
"Sahara!" Rob exclaimed, hugging his wife, "Finally!"
"Oh my god!" Sahara squeaked, clapping her hands over her mouth. "I don't believe it..."
Adrienne and Billie Joe smiled. "Congrats," Billie Joe said, putting his hand on Sahara's shoulder. "And good luck."

BACK TO PRESENT-DAY 2003
AMI'S POV
I finished putting my stuff into the car and looked back at the home I might never see again. My eyes teared up and Billie Joe came and put his arm around my shoulders.
"It'll be fine," he said, kissing the top of my head, "You'll like it in California."
I forgot about that. "But I don't want to move!" I cried, spinning around to face him. "I love it here in London!"
"We have to go back to the US, sweetie," Adrienne said, trying to calm me down.
"We can't stay in London forever. Remember, you have two brothers waiting for you in Oakland."
I couldn't argue with that. I wearily looked back at the parents who'd raised me for the 9 years of my life. I hated leaving.
"So...," I muttered. "This is...goodbye?" My mom Sahara ran up and hugged me. Dad, Rob weakly smiled and held onto mom's shoulder.
"Sweetie...I'm gonna miss you so much," she cried into my shoulder. I hugged her tightly. "You better call every day, or I'll worry to much."
"Mom...I know, I know," I cried. "I'll do my best." I let go, and so did she, and I climbed into the car, sensing I'd never see my home again.
