How Can I Love My Music Teacher?, chapter 3
"You're the new neighbor?! I knew someone moved in, but I didn't know it was you!"
"Wow, how weird..." He laughed. We parked, and luckily my parents weren't home. They would've killed me, to see me cutting school, with a guy, going into his house...so that's what we did, we went in his house. Our neighborhood is nice and there are big homes, but it's nothing special. Two stories, good carpeting, bright, cheery walls. I followed him to his kitchen and he pulled out two root beers. "You like these?" he asked.
"My favorite!"
"Me, too! Stalker..." he mumbled. I shoved him from the side and laughed. He then pushed aside some stuff in the fridge to look for everything. "Well, what do you want? I don't have much food... I need to go shopping, but I always put it off until the last minute. I hate shopping."
"Oh? Now who's the stalker?"
"A girl who doesn't like to shop!" he exclaimed. He pulled out some stuff wrapped in foil. "This will sound weird, but how about cold pizza?"
"I love cold pizza!"
"This is creepy, get out of my head!"
"Have you ever thought that it might be you inside of my head?"
"No... good point." He took out the pizzas and popped some, well, popcorn.
"What's the popcorn for?"
"Movie?" he asked sweetly.
"Sure, why not?" He pointed me to a shelf full of movies and I looked through them. I held out The grudge as if to ask. He nodded. I put in the movie and then we both got on the couch, snuggled up in a blanket. When the first scary part came, I accidentally spilled the whole bowl of popcorn on Billie... "Sorry!"
"It's okay. Popcorn fight!" he yelled. He picked up a handful of popcorn off of his shirt and threw it at me.
"No fair! You already have some on you! I have no ammo and you can't possibly get any dirtier!" I whined.
"Good for me now, isn't it?" he asked with an evil and suggestive grin.
"No!" I pretended to cry. Then another scary part came on. I grasped onto Billie and buried my face in his chest. When the part was over, I backed way up. "Ew! Gross! I'm all popcorny!"
"So am I!" Billie whined.
"So?"
"So... RAH!!!" he yelled, then he tackled me and pinned me down on the couch.
"Gotcha!"
"Even if you are a teacher... I like this position..." I told him with a cheeky smile.
"Rawr." He pretended to claw the air like he was a big jungle cat.
"Jungle cat!" I said aloud. What a funny mind I have! "You're a jungle cat!" He then proceeded to jump down onto the floor and get on all fours and prance around like a cat. He licked his 'paw' and 'gave himself a bath.' I went next to him and 'pet the kitty.'
"Rawr," he repeated.
"I wanna ride the kitty! Me! Me!" I shouted, raising my hand, jumping in the air.
"Me-ow." he said in agreement. I got on his back and I rode him all around the house. Like a pony... but he's a dude... weird... We heard the door open suddenly, and I looked over. There was Tre with a bunch of beers.
"Wonderful, I can't even drink." I said sadly. "Oh well, root beer for me!"
"Oh, I didn't know you were here... riding Billie..." I looked down. Oh, yeah.
"Oh. I... uh..." I got off and stumbled to the couch. Billie stayed on the ground. He hissed at Tre and tackled him like he did to me. He meowed.
"Good kitty!" Tre whimpered. Another scary part came on.
"AHHHH!" I screamed. Tre knocked Billie off of him and ran to me and picked me up.
"What?!" he asked.
"Why are you holding me?"
"He's perverted... you should probably get used to it. He won't bite... hard." At
that, Tre bit my arm.
"What the-- Tre?!" I yelled.
"What?" He dropped me on the floor.
"Ahh! You broke my butt!" I cried.
"Are you okay?" Billie asked me as he, himself, picked me up.
"Don't drop me... butt. Hurt. Bad!" I moaned. He glared at Tre. "Oh well. At least one loves him."
"What do you mean?"
"My sister. She loves the band as well, but she's graduated already, so she isn't in the music class." I explained as Billie put me gently on the couch.
"Oh. So is she in her twenties or what?" Tre asked hopefully. I sighed.
"No, she's my twin." It's always a touchy subject.
"What do you mean, 'she's graduated'?!" they shouted.
"Homeschooling. She's a braniac, but she's awesome. She homeschooled herself." Both of their jaws dropped. "Can we please drop it? My parents always fawn over her because she's brilliant, and it's a sensitive subject."
"Yeah, sure."
"Hook me up with her!" Tre shouted.
"Why not?" I sighed.
"Uh, nevermind. Can I... uh... take me home with you!"
"Sure. Can you leave now?" I snapped. He nodded like a frightened puppy, waved and left. "Wow, I was only kidding..."
"I'm glad he's gone, aren't you?" I nodded. Billie leaned over me and kissed my cheek. "So, want anything? Like... an ice pack or... I dunno... me?" He grinned.
"Oh, no! Not YOU!" I yelled sarcasticlly with my arms over my face.
"You don't?" His lip quivered and he pretended to cry.
"Okay, fine. You can sit next to me." I told him. He jumped on the couch next to me, springing me, making my butt hurt. "OWWW!!!"
"Sorry! I forgot..." Then he gave me this really sad face. How sweet is that? I can't resist a face like that.
"It's okay." I reached over and grabbed the controller, then turned off the movie before I sprung myself.
"What now?" he asked.
"I don't know. What do you think?"
"Oh, I can think of some things..."
"Wow, how weird..." He laughed. We parked, and luckily my parents weren't home.
